We (my wife and teenage kids) loved this restaurant. Located right on the water, we had a window table upstairs with a lovely view of the waterfront. Just got dinner at S&P Oyster and it was superb! Highly recommend it to anyone staying in or passing through Mystic. My family and I tried several restaurants in Mystic and this is one of only two that I would recommend (Azu being the other). Really I can't believe the great reviews here. If you're looking for good food, you'll be horrified. We used the call ahead seating, and only had a 5 minute wait on a sunny summer Saturday evening. The service was prompt and helpful. The food was outstanding, as was the view. I would highly recommend. The dining experience was well worth the price. more

After a somewhat lenghthy, but expected wait (we didn't mind, the view of the setting sun while waiting on the dock behind the restaurant was stunning), we were seated. My all time favorite restaurant. The food is always made from very fresh ingredients, the menu is wonderful, the views are gorgeous and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. The waitstaff is very attentive and well trained. The only problem is there is often times a long wait, but it's definitely worth it! more
