It took an hour and a half to serve our order. One of the entrees was not prepared as represented, and was inedible as served. This is an over-priced, commercial eatery. This venue is obviously taking advantage of its scenic view of the Mystic River and bridge to offer unexceptional food. Avoid. Drive over to The Dog Watch, in Stonington,... More

We found this restaurant a less than fine eating experiance for a couple of reasons. We called for reservations and were told they didn't take reservations, but being out of tourist season, it would not be a wait or very short ( probably no more than 10 minutes ) at the most. On arrival, we were told our wait would... More

Food was good, setting outstanding. Wonderful New England coastal town. The restaurant overlooks the harbor AND a drawbridge! We had the seafood ambrosia which was very good (highly recommend) and the shrimp risotto, which was ok. I also had the highly touted clam chowder, which was good. Waitstaff was efficient. Would definitely return.

When i walked in the door the first thing i noticed was multiple framed newspaper and magazine articles about this restaurant. This is always a good sign. I showed up without reservations and the wait was about an hour so i went and got a seat by the bar. The cocktail list definetely had an old school feel to it... More

Great location, poor quality food, poor service and high prices. Lobster rolls were served on stale buns and fries were cold. Not a good combination.

My boyfriend and I went here today for lunch and at first we looked at the menu and had a little bit of shock they are a little pricey, however he had the lobster roll and I had the salmon off the grill and we got clam chowder and tuna nachos for appetizers. It was one of the best meals... More

We really like this restaurant right on the water, the food presentation was nice, the waitresses were very good and we would definitely go back again if we were in the area.

Went for lunch...sat inside which was not full. However, we were rushed thru our meal...entrees brought out before we finished our soup. The waiter stood there while we gulped the last few spoons then whisked away our bowls as well as the bread basket. Food was good, however. Bread pudding disappointing. They always microwave it everywhere and then it is... More
