Based on TA reviews, we by passed our regular place (S&P Oyster) in Mystic, and picked this restaurant in an old historic building. We ate at the bar in the Pub, and had the BEST calamari EVER! Made w/hot cherry peppers, scallions, and drizzled wonderful white wine sauce. Then I had an excellent bowl of clam chowder and their scallop... More

We actually ate at what the locals refer to as DPI (which is the tavern downstairs of the restaurant). The atmosphere is so awesome with the rustic tavern feel and local feel. There is even rumors that it is haunted. The martinis are served in stainless steel martini goblets that keep the martinis extra cold. Very smooth and perfectly created.... More

We had a mixed seafood dish with artichokes and pasta and the hamburger with wild boar sausage. Wow, both were great, definitely not standard pub food. They start you with fresh baked bread and a plate of roasted garlic and butter. Super! I will say that the burger that came with fries was more than I could handle, actually left... More

Old historic Inn. Great service and quality food. Had seafood risotto which was excellent with an abundance of lobster, crab, shrimp and scallops although cheesy which I love. Scallop casserole was not fishy and a bonus of real mashed potatoes. Sweet spicey ahi tuna for appetizer with crispy noodles. Want to come back for dinner.

Ate dinner at the dining room last night. Dining area has nice atmosphere. Bread was served with roasted garlic, which was a nice switch from the usual butter/oil fare. Had lobster ravioli for entree, and the petite portion was plenty for me. Coffee was also from local shop and was very good. Prices were on the high side, but really... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the food here. We were expecting standard pub fare and got gourmet. The bartender was super friendly and served us well. Will definitely return when I visit Mystic again.

This place is great! Amazing old building is interesting enough. But the people, service, and food make this place definitely worth a visit! We had lunch downstairs in the pub and it was a great unique room!

Good food, good people, great atmosphere; what more could you want. Dinner in the dinning room is great and a bit more formal than squeezing into the pub. Squeezing in at the pub is part of the allure of the pub, not a negative. If you walk in not knowing anyone you will soon find yourself among friends you just... More

Best meals ever! Similar menu to the main dining hall. Kids loves their dinners! Chicken DPI is a specialty! Always a great dinner whether pub or main dining!

I went here for lunch. My boyfriend and I ordered a crab panini and a hot Lobster roll. The food was very good, but not over average. However, I have to say that the quality/price relation was very good: for the whole lunch we paid $31 dollars, and the portions were really big. I would say this is very good... More
