The Inn is from the 1700's But the Seafood is Fresh and Out of this World!

My cousin lives in Mystic and she knows the best spots. She took me to Captain Daniel Packer Inne near her home. I had the clam chowder and the scallops. They were both some of the best I ever had.

I ate at the Daniel Packer inne and had the blackjack Sirloin which was incredible!!! Service was excellent every thing about this restaurant is a 5 star in my book EXCEPT the bread? I thought it was my imagination at first but later realized it was not.. Eating in the bread I was pulling out a long black curly strand... More

We had some great local scallops and enjoyed a great view. The building itself is fascinating. When in Mystic this is definitely worth a visit. We did arrive early and with no reservations and were seated quickly.

Picked it by reviews and was not disappointed. Good drinks, some interesting options for appetizers and high quality food prepared well. Worth it!

Such a nice experience - a splash of class in downtown historic Mystic. This great old house was converted in a restaurant. We dined upstairs, which was nice. The view was better, and it was more quiet. The selection of starters that this establishment offers is mind blowing. He got the calamari, which was coated in this glaze...it was amazing!... More

We come to Mystic once a year and always have dinner at the Daniel Packer Inn- the ambiance and service is terrific. The food is traditional pub food- good burgers and sandwiches while the fish dishes are terrific. One comes here for the atmosphere- it is good low key fun.

7/29/2015 The place is a piece of history in that area. It is known for its fine service and food. I would have given at least one more star, but the lobster in the hot lobster roll was overcooked and had little flavor. The sherry butter gave it some life but not enough. For a lobster lover like myself, that... More

All I can say is WOW! This place was so good that after we checked out bee hung around the area just eat lunch there again. The grilled mussels are to die for!!! The wait staff were friendly and the kitchen split our dish for us without even asking. Now that's catering to your patrons. I only wish it was... More

This used to be one of our favorite places. Last evening, my wife and I took friends visiting from out of town. After raving about the place, we ordered. I had Truffle Scallops. There was no taste of the truffles, the scallops were bland and the sauce was a goopy mess. The clam chowder we all had as an appetizer... More
