Cozy place in Mystic

We Had a fun dinner last night at DPI. Onion soup, ahi tuna and salad were very good as well as the seafood pasta. The asian style tuna on vegetables wasn't at par with the rest of the food. Place is very friendly and cozy and the service match the overall ambience.

Had a nice meal in the pub. Neat little pub with a very good menu. Had the DPI salad ( split because so big) and we also split the Lobster roll and the Fish & chips. It was all very good. There is a nice selection of local beers & wine on tap. Would definitely recommend going here.

I can't stress enough the great food and drinks at this restaurant and pub. Looking forward to going for our anniversary and sitting at the fireside table with my husband. Love the DPI Salad the best!!!

We ate downstairs in the pub, lovely old brick walls and bar, very comfortable. The clam chowder is a must!! As is the pear fricasee salad. One of the best salads I've ever eaten, anywhere. My dinner companions had bison burgers, which they raved about. I certainly plan to return here. The upstairs dining room looked beautiful, very tastefully appointed.

The wife and I dine out once or twice a week and as a consequence, we end up at a lot of our usual haunts. The DPI is a bit off our regular track but we make the trip at least twice a month because they do such a wonderful job of balancing menu favorites like my wife's favorite scallop... More

We always eat in the pub -- for the food, of course, but also for the environment. It's an easy place to talk to people around you and share drinks and laughs. We also love the ancient feeling of the architecture, history without being precious. We sometimes eat from the, less expensive, pub menu, but sometimes from the dining room... More

Great food, large portions. Downstairs has a pub like atmosphere with a bar and tables for casual dining. Upstairs is more formal but still great as well. This is the original building from the 1700's. Worth a trip back in time to pre-Revolutionary era!
