We arrived early enough for the oyster happy hour, and has two dozen oysters at $1 each (regularly $2.50 each). We inhaled them! They were sweet and excellent! The bar waitress could not have been nicer! We were shown to our table after we had a drink and the oysters on the deck. Thinking with a name like the Oyster... More

Oysters are $1 each during happy hour which starts at 4, wine and beer I think are half off? Eat up in the treehouse or out on the patio! If I lived here I would be eating oysters everyday at 4:00! Friendly staff. The patio in front is great but small, I love the treehouse, sitting outside and way up... More

Wow. After reading the reviews here, I wonder if I went to the same restaurant or if there was a substitute chef that night. It was a Wednesday night and the three of us arrived for our 7:30 reservation. The waitress was great and the ambiance better than average. Unfortunately, the great stuff stopped there. We ordered glasses of wine,which... More

We visited here three years ago and loved it. We couldn't wait to come here again. We sampled all four of the oysters on the menu. They were fresh, clean and absolutely wonderful! It's so cool to taste the differences in the different varieties of the oysters. Then Mrs. M had the mussels in coconut/lime broth. Yum! I had the... More

Monday is half-price wine night (bottle), so that's when my friend and I decided to go. It had been a few months since I treated myself to oysters, so I was ready for them again. What a dining experience! From the oysters to dessert of vanilla cheesecake with carrot cake crumble accompanied by Dave's Black Crow coffee, every dish was... More

We visited with our 2 year old for a meal after an afternoon walk around Mystic. The staff squeezed us in even though we had no reservation and served us promptly which is important with a hungry little one. I had the muscles in a coconut and lemongrass broth, which was delicious as was the gurnard in chilli and peanut... More

Just had dinner and lunch at this fine restaurant. The food is delicious and well presented. The service is excellent. While the menu is changed daily based on availability of product it offers ample choices for most any gourmet pallet. The mussels in coconut broth is exceptional. John Dory fish and monkfish are served over spinach and black lentils in... More

Small, intimate dining EXPERIENCE. This was my second visit. The menu changes daily and is touted as local, fresh & expertly prepared. It definitely lived up to its claims. Creative combinations and some unique pairings combined with excellent table service in a laid back, casually upscale environment housed within a post and beam early nineteenth century dwelling. A little dark... More
