Waited a long time to try this place...pretty good after all....

We had wanted to visit the boathouse during the summer but never made it. We were happy to get to try it this past weekend. The decor is tastefully done in a nautical theme and there is a separate bar area if you don't want to eat in the actual restaurant. We chose the restaurant and there were... read more

My Family and I spent a couple of day in the area and chose the Boathouse for its past reviews and Family friendly atmosphere. My husband wanted seafood, I am not a seafood fan so we needed a restaurant that would have choices for my two children and grandson as well. The Boathouse was perfect! The host picked a perfect round... More

We were seated promptly on arrival, mid-evening on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, but not overcrowded. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are very reasonably. As a family of five, we spent a little over $100 (with tip) for three kids meals, two adult entrees, an appetizer, soup, and drinks. Everyone was happy with their meals. C &... More

The lobster roll dinner was great. Their homemade bread was fantastic.... Staying next door at the holiday inn express with no restaurant worked out great. Prices were reasonable too. Would go back.

We found Mystic Boathouse on Trip Advisor and the reviews looked good. We were very glad we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed $2.50 Happy Hour Beers. The kids loved the $5. Mini pizzas and $2 mozzarella stix. The fish and chips was excellent too. Waitress was friendly, service was fast. Couldn't have been any better. Thanks Trip... More

Had a gift card so we decided to try the restaurant. It was a quiet night because of the cold weather. The server was very attentive and nice, I ordered a Tuscan salad a crock of French onion soup. The salad was very bland. The dressing tasted like it was pure olive oil. My dining companion ordered a Buffalo Chicken... More

My biggest pet peeve when dining out is having to wait – to be acknowledged when I enter a restaurant, to be handed a menu and offered a drink, or for a delayed meal. So, upon entering The Mystic Boathouse for the first time, things didn’t bode well as my husband and I stood in the entryway for about 5... More

The staff is always welcoming. Love to stop by after a day in Mystic. Don't feel rushed and food is good and reasonably priced. Love their chowder.
