It was close to our hotel so we went there. It was ok but nothing special. The food was average. The wait staff was friendly. Probably would not return there unless too tired to go somewhere else.

A great place to spend an early evening and enjoy some local hospitality. I had the standard fish and chips. A great dish to start our trip off. This was my daughter's (19mos) first time in a restaurant and the wait staff was extremely kind and patient with us. We all enjoyed our meals. The boathouse shared the same parking... More

What a great spot. Went for lunch after a great stay in mystic. Had the lobster, scallop dip, burger, and crab cake. Everything was on point. Really good. Kids enjoyed it...wife loved scallop dip....daughter said lobster was fantastic. Burger was surprisingly good as well. We stayed at hotel right next to this place, wish we went night before as well.... More

Not the typical stuff--well some typical stuff, but with a twist. For example, they make their own potato chips! Excellent accompaniment to the hot lobster roll. Fried pickles are a great appetizer, as is the scallop, gruyere and spinach dip served with pita chips. Ask for Julie. She is a sweetheart of a waitress--best service ever! And, it's right across... My husband and I went to mistic for a one night getaway, we walked to the boathouse from our hotel for some drinks and a few apps. Our waitress was great she gave a small sample of beer which my husband loved and I got sangria(was alittle weak tasting) so I ordered something different it was great. We got fried... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times and so far so good. Their scallop dip is delicious! My only gripe is that they serve it with 7 small pieces of pita bread and when you ask for more bread you get charged. I went last night and it took our server 15 minutes to greet us. It was... More

We were only in town for the night and were looking for a place where we could casually have a good meal at a reasonable price. So many places in the area cater to families (good for them!), but we just wanted some quiet! We found what we were looking for at the Mystic Boathouse. We ate in the bar... More

It was just okay. Thought it was over priced for the quality of food. Go Fish is just across the street and has much more to offer.

Highlight - Laurie, our waitress! Superb service. Was worth the visit just for her! Food was ok too just don't expect too much.
