Not too Friendly

The food was good and portions were good size on the Fisherman's platter. The waitress wasn't so friendly, though. We had to ask for drink refills, but saw other tables getting refills; other tables were offered dessert, we had to ask. Since it was our first time there, I'm not sure what we... read more

It's safe to say the friendliest employee in the restaurant is the hostess. Manager was walking around with a death stare and a snotty attitude. Our waitress was snotty and didn't believe that my license was real... Questioning everything on my ID. Food is sub par girlfriends food was cold and our waitress never cleared out app plate. Would not... More

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and this restaurant is just across the hotel parking lot. It is also within walking distance of several other hotels. We went on a Saturday night at 7 PM and were promptly seated without a reservation. The food was quite good (especially the lobster) and the staff got our instructions perfectly correct for... More

Good first impression with just a short wait for a table at 7:15 on a weekday evening. Restaurant was maybe 2/3 full. We quickly ordered both a bottle of wine and our uncomplicated meals at the same time: the wine came right away but 45 minutes after we sat down we were still waiting for our food and asked our... We had dinner here Sunday 7/26/15. I would expect a 10 oz., $28 NY strip steak to be good but after removing at least an ounce of gristle I felt somewhat taken. In addition, I was annoyed that I could count on one hand the amount of green beans I received. Last I checked, green beans are not an expensive... More

We stopped here for lunch between our visit to Seaport and the aquarium, which is just nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was simple but fresh and very good. We enjoyed our meal there, and so did the kids !

We were looking forward to eating at this restaurant and were very happy with our selections. The staff was friendly and professional. Our selections included lobster, potatoes, and lobster roll with homemade potato chips. The servings are generous and you might have to take some leftovers with you. I look forward to eating at this restaurant on my next visit.

Called in at the restaurant today while on a coach tour staying the night in Mystic. The atmosphere was really good and the welcome was typical of America, very friendly. The bar was really busy but the restaurant not so busy however we were given excellent service and the waitress was very helpful explaining some of the dishes. We had... More

I came here with my mom and my toddler. It was close to our hotel and had a big menu. We were seated right away and our server was great. I had a craving for clam chowder, so that was my starter. Not the best chowder I've had, but not terrible. I had the crab cake sandwich for dinner. I... More

My husband & I were recently in Mystic, CT ....... after a day at the Seaport, we were starving ...... wound up at the Mystic Boathouse for dinner. Loved the casual atmosphere, nautical decor, and the friendly staff. A great menu featuring American cuisine as well as a raw bar. Food came out quickly, especially considering how busy they were....
