A Gem along theConnecticut coast! أخر حاجة

I am from Philadelphia and we have a few really authentic Lebanese and Moroccan restaurants for comparison. PITA STOP (Oh, how cute!) meets or exceeds the best of the Philadelphia crew, present or past (Jimmy Tayoun's "Middle East") in all respects except for roominess. We just had a lovely lunch of pita wraps and fresh iced tea. Gracious young woman waitress who explained one unfamiliar item for us. Chicken was grilled to order, the yoghurt sauce excellent, the side cole slaw intriguing. Well worth the stop after Mystic Seaport.

We order a carry out pita wrap with french fries. The service was fast and the food was good. I would say it was on par with most middle eastern places I've eaten in the past.

The staff are awesome. The food is awesome. Wish it was in a better place like downtown but I really enjoy it. Recommend it to everyone

We went to this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. It was well worth it. Everything was flavorful and fresh (very authentic), and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

We walked in about 30 minutes before they closed for the night but treated us like we were their first customers of the day. Being a late hour we wanted to eat light. Our host recommended the variety sampler as an appetizer... perfect. We then had the Shepard's Salad and Citrus Salad respectively. I honestly can't remember having a citrus... More

Found this place by chance. Wanted a light dinner but not the usual salad. Great service and even greater food. The LaLa chicken is highly recommended and so is the sample appetizer. No leftovers! Next time we are in the area we will be back.

So glad we stopped here for dinner while visiting the area. The owner was attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. We were here with our toddler and he even gave her something to play with. Food was delicious and service was great! Highly recommend.

Delicious with lots of vegetarian options. Friendly service as well. I only sample 3 things but the Baba was incredible. If I had a bigger appetite I would've have ordered more things. Definitely worth checking out
