Cozy & enjoyable

Popular bar recommended by locals & we weren't disappointed. Guinness draft beer was fresh. Menu selections were few but the mashers & bangers were extremely tasty. Good place for fresh beer & quick bite to eat.

We have been there 2x recently and both were great experiences. Fish and chips are outstanding accompAnied with fries. Burgers are a generous portion and delicious! Will be going again very soon!

We ate dinner at the Harp and Hound one evening. It was fairly late, but we enjoyed the English beers, the food, and the games that the DJ was playing. It was a fun, safe place to be in Mystic.

I love Irish Pubs and this one is small but cozy and I expected to enjoy a relaxing dinner. HOWEVER, when we arrived at 6:30 on a Monday night we were informed they had run out of food. They did offer us either BLTs or Lobster sliders which we declined. I had my sights set on irish food. We did... More

The Harp & Hound Pub makes you feel like you're in a pub in Ireland. The interior is dark and comfortable. It's a great place to stop for a drink and maybe a bite to eat. One caution: it can get crazy at night and definitely crazy on the day of the Mystic Irish Day Parade!

We wanted to stop for lunch but weren't really hungry so we ordered a beer. The food that was there looked incredible, and we wished we were hungry. The bartender took our orders and was amazing. Lots of regulars come in during happy hour. If we are ever in the area again, we would go here for a meal next... More

We only had a chance to have a beer here, but it was noteworthy. If we had more time in Mystic, would have returned for dinner as the food looked and smelled terrific. Friendly bartenders and fun local conversations. Very authentic looking Irish Pub.

Had lunch with a friend here on a Wednesday afternoon. The place was empty, but the waitress/bartender was super nice and really warm. Our food was good--very authentic Irish. I loved the signs on the outside, and the inside was really welcoming. There was lots of parking on Pearl Street, which was nice.

I really can't give a fair review of this place. We stopped in during their happy hour. My husband and I each had a draft, which was $4 each (which was half price) Not a great deal when most places we've gone to, $4 was full price. The place was quaint and clean. We couldn't sit at the bar because... More

Cute Irish pub. I had a burger with fries... tasty, no complaints. Mom had BLT.... the bacon was not cooked. The server made it right as brought a new batch out.
