I had a breakfast reunion with 3 of my former teaching colleagues at the Rustic Grille. The menu is so large, get there early, to have enough time to read it. I have driven by this place many times and never knew it was there. It's diagonally across the street from Robertos Restaurant. I had Eggs over easy with sausage... More

I live in NC but every time I visit family in Newtown the Rustic Grill is the place to go. Their turkey and stuffing wrap is our of this world delicious. The old pictures of Monroe and the friendly staff make every visit a pleasure.

This is a very nice place for breakfast. We are regulars since we like the food a lot and never had any issues with the service, however have seen and heard of complaints from others. Recently they have added a bar which seems it has reduced the number of available seats and increased the waiting time on busy weekend mornings.... More

Brought my son here for breakfast, 20 bucks. A tad steep for what we got. Food was alright, not worth $20+

I stopped by the Rustic Grille on a late Thursday afternoon. I was the only customer, so I had my choice of tables or sitting at the counter. I decided to sit at the counter. After looking over their extensive menu, I ordered the Blazin’ Chicken Salad ($9.55). The salad arrived just 5 minutes later. It was a large plate... More

So, I only went once, but never again. This place might have good food??, but it only takes one time to loose some great loyal customers. This is my story about the Rustic Grill: My family of four and Mom and dad decided to try one day. We went inside and at the time it was not busy at all.... More

Just happened upon this place and it was a pleasant dining experience. Although the pancakes were a little "doughy/mushy" the rest of my meal was good. I certainly would not hesitate to come back.

The food here is your typical diner fare: average and ordinary. After eating here three times, I noticed the wait people seem to be intimidated by the manager. He snaps and barks at them, and the establishment's customers can overhear his scolding.

This is a great hometown place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We went for breakfast and they were lined out the door when we arrived which speaks volumes to me about what people feel about the place. Waitress was very attentive, plenty of staff to deal with the crowds. Service was prompt, with a smile. Well run - everyone knew... More
