I brought my Mother-in-law to Rainbow Gardens for lunch because I had heard good things about it, I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the place was lovely. So many interesting decorations. The Zucchini Bread was wonderful. We will go there again, what a nice place.

Great restaurant and bar in old Milford. Plenty of parking in back and nearby. Call ahead for reservation. I had the "Heaven and Earth" which is a grilled chicken and angel hair pasta with a stroganoff sauce. Make sure you order a " dark and stormy" at the bar.

Had dinner there for the first time tonight. My girlfriend and I were very disappointed. I ordered a New York strip steak and French Onion soup for an appetizer. The steak was tasteless and the French Onion soup tasted like someone poured some beef bouillon over some bread and onions. Sprinkle some cheese on top and pass it off as... More

My mother and I had a very enjoyable dinner at Rainbow Gardens two weeks ago for the first time. The restaurant has a front room (with a bar) and a back room. Tables are spaced nicely apart, and the noise level was quite manageable. Dress is somewhat casual. The menu featured a number of very interesting cocktails that were also... More

Visited this restaurant a few times, never had a bad meal. There is an abundant size bar for diners as well as just stop in for a drink. Very nice menu selection. My last visit tried their sandwich menu, BBQ meatloaf sandwich excellent. Also tried a soup chicken jambalaya fantastic and only $3.95 for a more than average bowl size.... More

Every year I take my family to the Rainbow Gardens for New Years dinner. The food is always great and so is the service.

We dine at Rainbow Gardens often for its excellent food, variety of menu and amiable atmosphere. From their oversized salads to seafood entrees and pasta dishes to a simple meatloaf plate, Rainbow Gardens almost always satisfies. The chef possesses creative flair with many of the dishes. For example, there's a cucumber wasabi dressing that matches up with several of the... More

Every visit to Rainbow Gardens is a treat! Though one of my male guests accused me of taking him to "a ladies' tea house", he has been the only one ever to complain. Many men seem to enjoy their time there and, for the women, it is always a treat. Set in a lovely old Victorian house, it is decorated... More

Family took us here for dinner, one of their favored places to eat. The 'tisket a tasket' bread basket with varieties was outstanding. Could have made a meal of a basket. We split a Who's Your Daddy sandwich that was huge, and an order of onion rings, more than enough for two of us. The kitchen staff split the entree... More

I've eaten at the Rainbow Gardens several times when I've been in Milford and it's always a treat. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere quaint, and the food delicious. Be sure to try one of their desserts! I don't know how expensive it is because my family always treats me when I'm in town.
