I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is great, authentic Spanish bistro feel from the decor to the music, to the tapas! The small plates are great. Steamed Mussels and the paella and great choices. Seafood/lobster risotto and braised short rib were also done to perfection for entrees. We will definitely be back to try more options.

Bistro bisque is a cozy quaint place. At first my husband and I were surprised by the closeness of the seating to other guests. Once we had a glass of sangria and a taste of their lobster bisque it felt as if we were the only customers. The paella was delicious! A nice place to catch up with a friend... More

The ladies all went out so my buddy and I returned to the Bistro Basque. We had been there previously a few years ago and remembered that we liked it a lot. We never got around to ordering dinner, as we started with 3 different tapas, had three more, a few drinks, and I think we had dessert. EVERYTHING was... More

I have been to BB multiple times and it seems that it is slowly getting worse each time. My wife and I went on a beautul fall day last week. We decided to try BB for lunch. We asked to sit on the patio. We were told it was closed for lunch??? We decided to sit at the tables in... More

We love the BB! Amazing food, beyond the norm. Outstanding, fresh and delicious. We are always amazed when we walk through the dining room through the back and are instantly transported to Spain or France, it's like a portal! The patio is one of my favorite spots anywhere in the world. Wait staff is good, fun and perfectly there. LOVE... More

My wife and I ate dinner here, because of the appeal of the menu and the generally favorable reviews it has received. I was quite pleased with my entrée--scallops with mashed potatoes on spinach. My wife found her paella ordinary -- all the right ingredients but bland. The comment from another reviewer about deterioration in service rang true. We ordered... More

Wow! What terrific Basque cuisine! Our group of 4 had several different tapas, all of which were terrific, including garlic shrimp, picaton (goat cheese with tomatoes), and pork with red peppers and cheese. The Brussels sprouts with the blue cheese bechamel were excellent. The grilled calamares were out of this world, and the cod croquettes along with the txipirones en... More

Can't say enough great things about this place. Had 4 of us for dinner. Had 4 tapas and 4 meals. No complaint from anyone. Honestly I couldn't even tell you who my waiter was because everyone that passed out table asked us if we needed anything. If you love on Connecticut or just visiting you have to dine here.

One night stopover in Milford Landings Marina. Happened upon this little place. We were all happily surprised. The ambiance, food and service was outstanding! Can not wait to return!
