Probably my 5th visit. Menu is heavy on seafood which you would expect at a naval themed restaurant a stones throw away from the ocean. Service is really excellent, menu is small but good. Their ingredients however are the best. Everything tastes excellent. Whether that be the steamers or the... read more

We happened upon Scribner's, a landmark among the locals & in the know visitors. We enjoyed a good old fashioned well prepared & presented dinner for 2. Their Littleneck Sauté appetizer was incredible, as were our 2 entree choices of Stuffed 1 1/4 lb Lobster and Surf & Turf with an 8oz Filet and a Steamed Lobster Tail. Bread &... More

Even after so many years this place is still pretty busy on a Friday night, I guess cuz it is the only place with a large reasonably priced seafood menu, and plenty of tables, decent atmosphere. Both of us got the rice, and were surprised at the very small portion on the plate. But once we tasted it we realized... More

This is a sea food restaurant, off the beaten path, in Woodmont section of Milford. Park your car on the street or drive around back, you can enter from the back also. There are two dinning areas plus bar area. The sea food is the best in this area and the service is always great. After you dine just a... More

Went to Scribner's for an anniversay celebration. The decorations, the atmosphere, the service and lastly the food were absolutely perfect. I had gone to this restaurant early in the Spring this year and was pleased and wanted to return. In December, I was able to join a few friends to celebrate an anniversay and we all were delighted. So very... More

We had our joint birthday dinner there and the food, atmosphere and service was excellent. This place has been really good for over 30 years!

I'll be the first to say, I had a very pleasant dining experience at Scribners this evening. The night started out interesting with the hostess being a little air headed but, once we were seated it was fine. I quickly was served bread and sparkling water and given menus. My mom and I decided to order stuffed clams, fried calamari,... More

Visited Scribner's for Milford's Restaurant week. Great selection of appetizers, entree and dessert for $23.75. Made reservations for 6:00 and we were seated right away. Staff was great..very attentive. My husband had the Lobster Fish Cakes for appetizer and salmon for dinner. He enjoyed both dishes. I had the salad wedges for appetizer and swordfish with gorganzola for dinner. Everything... More

We went there for the first time during Milford Restaurant Week! I had sweet potato crusted salmon and my husband had Cod. Both of our dinners were delicious. We would love to visit again!
