My husband went in there late one night and we were starving. The food, wine, and service was above and beyond what we expected. We are glad we live so close to this little gem and can visit more often. It has a rustic interior charm and it's comfortable. The food tastes fresh and the quality is great. If you... More

Got here late after a Metro North ride from New York and were able to be seated within 8 minutes after difficulty finding a parking space. Loved the fact that they gave a glass of wine included in the $23.75 special, as well as a starter, entrée and dessert. Never got served bread in the busyness but enjoyed rainbow trout... More

Great food great people, always welcoming and they have the best Bread Pudding around. Sometimes the staff is a little loud competing with the background noise. Need a way to dampen the sound from bouncing off the brick wall. When there are large groups it becomes difficult to enjoy the evening. On less busy evenings you can enjoy the best... More

We have been many times. This meal will run about $110 for two with drinks, coffee and dessert. Amazing mixtures of flavors to create memorable dishes. I usually order the flank steak medium rare. It is always fabulous and you can count on the it cooked the same way every time. Another favorite is the fish and chips. Huge battered... More

Clean friendly place. The portion size was a little smaller than I would of liked. But the food was very good and the staff was very nice.

We were so impressed on a recent visit. Somewhat early, we both decided on the Prix Fixe Menu. We were not disappointed. Excellent selection of apps, salads, poultry, meat and seafood. Modest exterior belies a somewhat upscale interior, and the cuisine was definitely upscale, carefully prepared, much freshness, beautiful presentation. Nice wine list. Very attentive Service. Treat yourself some evening...

This lovely gem is one of our favorite go-to places in our home town of Milford, CT! The bar area is homey and frequented by lots of in-the-know locals. Excellent wine selections, and even a "good pour" (my husband's comment). Appetizers are generous, and we often find ourselves doing a selection of them as an alternative to a full course... More

Went to Bridge House with friends on a recent Saturday evening. Started at the bar where the bartender made a great dry martini. Menu is varied and the food was very good. My wife thought the steak was the best she's ever had. I had the pork mixed grill which was interesting if a little on the fatty side. The... More
