Good Lunch

A group of four had lunch at Amici Grill. We arrived about 11:15, so quite early. The place was pretty empty and it was cold. Started to fill up by 11:30, but it was still cold. Apparently they have no control over the heat. A couple of pasta dishes from the lunch special menu were very good... read more

Lesson learned!!! Don't go to an Italian restaraunt for Steak!!! Sent it back twice. Wanted it medium well hot pink center. Got it with barely noticeable grill marks and a raw center. Even on the 3rd and last try it still was a little too undercooked for my likeing. Also 4.95 for a side if spinach? There was barely a... More

Very elaborate menu with good variety of entrees many of which are unique. Appetizers include great muscles with sausage and marinara sauce. Pork, chicken, and steaks entrees also very good.

Located right on Main Street with easy parking. The restaurant has a small bar area off of the main dining area. It was busy when we arrived, but we were able to get seated quickly. They have a good selection on the menu, chicken, beef, veal, fish, and pasta dishes. Our party started with an order of calamari. It was... More

Every Tuesday, Amici's offers a family dinner to-go with salad, bread and a main dish for under $25.00. We have ordered this meal many times to have Chicken Marsala, Chicken Scampi, Chicken Parmesan and Chicken with broccoli in a cream sauce. They do offer other meals besides chicken, but we have not tried them. We are always happy with these... More

Bring your appetite if you order the spaghetti bolognese. It's huge...enough for three people. I loved it. The tuna steak with broccoli rabe was fantastic too. Sadly, no room for dessert. Great bread and evoo with cheese and the calamari was fantastic!

Located in the heart of Middletown,CT, his Italian eatery brought one hell of a shrimp pene ala vodka. The sauce had the right texture and color..topped off with fresh parmesan and peppercorns. I unfortunately i couldn't take in the surroundings because i was too engulfed in the food. There's always next time!

The highlight of the meal came early, autumn sangria - white wine, cider, apple slices followed by bread and roasted garlic. The rest of the meal was marginal. Fettucini alfredo w chicken . . . the alfredo was not rich, it needed at least more cheese. Chicken christina was a bland chicken & linguini dish that supposedly included prosciutto but... More

After walking around Middletown in the bone chilling cold looking for a cozy place to get warm and dine at, my mom and I finally settled upon Amici's Italian Grill. When you first walk in, you are immediately put in the holiday spirit as they had Christmas twinkly lights and nice big wreaths and big red bows putting you in... More

Amici's is the best restaurant in the state. My family has visited this restaurant numerous times and has always had excellent food and service. Consistency and reliability is something you can count on at Amici's. Sam, the owner, is one great guy. Always checking with the customers and always visible to take care of any issues. He evens assists the... More
