If for no other reason you should come to Main St. Middletown it should be O'Rourke 's Diner. Prepare for a wait but if the weather is nice you will have a chance to meet many interesting people. We saw O'Rourkes on the travel channel last night and decided to take a ride from norhtern Ct. to Middletown. It was an easy trip. When you stay in Middletown or even if you are anywhere near Hartford, you have got to try this diner. The parking is not that great but the food is excellent. We came here numerous times to eat and we were never disappointed. We always brought home a doggie bag. Keep up the excellent food and service. more
