Average food. Terrible service. Needs to be cleaned. Door to kitchen was opening as I walked by. Oh my________.great concept. Enjoyable place. Just no cleanliness standards

My husband and I went in there after hearing they had a decent selection of craft beers. The place is in a pretty run down area in Middletown. The waitress that came over was very nice and seemed to know a decent amount about the beers. We asked about a beer that had been offered the night before (we saw... More

The atmosphere of Eli's reminded me of a cool hang out straight out of Brooklyn. I was excited to go here one for the name (my cats name:)) and being reminded of home. When we got inside the confusion and claustrophobia begins. No hostess was around to seat us, we had to seek her out and the waiter was very... More

Patience is your best friend at this place! Great atmosphere, good food, wretched service! The place could make so much more money if they cared about their customers!

Eli's has been around forever and just keeps getting better and better. Lots of beers on tap, great wings, yummy burgers and some really fine fish tacos!! As I'm not a beer drinker, I usually order a margarita here. The interior is decorated with all kinds of stuff hanging from the ceiling and walls- old signs, tricycles, neon lights -... More

Loved the experience; food was just ok. Cute, pleasant waitress and amiable, helpful staff. Very attentive, couldn't ask enough if we were ok. 36 (yes, 36) beers on tap... many different varieties...tried 3 before ordering 1. Had a burger and two chili dogs and multiple orders of fries. Burger was ok...not great about a 3 out of five. Fries were... More

I don't usually eat in Eli's but I have gotten takeout many times. The burgers are very flavorful, juicy, and the toppings were fresh and crisp (lettuce, tomato and onion). The rolls were very good as well. Fries were good too.

The food is good but the beer is better. Ask for the beer from Stubborn Beauty! Amazing! It's a fun place to dine.

Eli Cannons has a wonderful energy. It was our first time there. The wings were great. Our waiter, Colin, brought a sampler of beers to try. He was very friendly and helpful. It is a casual place but lots of fun. My scallop poor boy was delicious. My husband had a steak and cheese which was great. Great fries too!

Eli Cannon's is good but not great. It's at the northern end of Main Street in Middletown, CT close to the Portland Bridge, on the west side of the street. The decor is cool, and somewhat reminiscent of the SoCal surf bars I frequented 20+ years ago when I lived in Carlsbad, CA. The food is decent but not great,... More
