It had been a while since we've dined here, but our server, Mary, recognized us as soon as we came in the door. To me, that's always a good sign. We love the atmosphere here, and the food has never disappointed. Last night was no exception. The Arugula Salad has a lemon dressing that perfectly compliments the greens.Indulge your "inner... They have excellent happy hour deals on appetizers and the chicest bar area in town. Perfect place for after work drinks.

My husband and I have dined here several times, both as a couple and as part of a large group. The food is inconsistent. I remember one meal that was above average- the rest were mediocre. The prices are on the higher side for the food not being fantastic. Great wine list, and the wait staff is always polite and... More

My wife and I decided to go to Esca since we still had some $$$ on a gift card. We chose to sit by the windows which may have been a mistake as it was quite cool in that area. I had the Lumache a(snails) appetizer which was quite good! My wife had the calamari which was also tasty. For... More

My husband and I went to Esca on Valentine's day 2015. I wasn't impressed with anything really. Food and service was average. Water glasses and bread plates on table setting were spotty. My main issue is, when you go to a "wine bar" you expect the staff to be knowledgeable about the wine. Our server could not even pronounce the... More

Excellent authentic Italian food, many superb wines to pare with their entre's. Desserts alone are worth the trip.

Our second time eating here, and again we were very impressed. Try the veal meatballs, they almost melt in your mouth. And the Osso Bucco is out of this world. Special shout-out to our server, Mary. She did a great job!

This was our third time at Esca with each visit better than the previous. Summer and autumn visits we sat outside for apps and a couple glasses of wine. This time dinner inside. Whether it's apps, salads, flatbreads, or main courses the service has been exemplary, plate presentation has been beautiful and each dish delicious. Chicken, Pear and Gorgonzola, and... More

Been here many times. We have always enjoyed the food and for the most part, the service. We do tend to stick to the bar as we had one terrible server one time we went, and she seems to be there every time we walk in. The bartenders are awesome though. Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly. And the snicker doodle creme brulé... More
