Decided to try the Plume of Feathers as we have recently moved to the area. It was a lovely Sunday roast with plenty of fresh vegetables and hearty portion sizes. It has a lovely atmosphere, although it was quite busy so I am glad we booked and I would suggest that any other visitors do likewise on a Sunday. However... More

A group of 14 of us went for a Sunday roast with some having pudding and coffee. The service was friendly and efficient. The meal arrived quickly and all at once. The meal was excellent and all of us loved the food. I had lamb and it melted into my mouth. The vegetables were varied, well cooked and there was... More

We use the Plume of feathers a good few times a year and have never been disappointed. Today was no exception, a lovely roast with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. See you again.

Wow what amazing place! The good was incredible. Me and my family visited here for a Sunday roast and was blown away by the food. The pub is a very old and traditional. The staff couldn't do enough either. We will be back. Thank you

called Fri lunchtime around 2.30 but food served all day. Men had sausage sandwiches - huge doorstep affairs & us ladies crab salad starters. We all shared a bowl of proper home cut chips. Meal & drinks £40 a bit pricey but tasty.

Dog friendly pub. Really great food. Got invited to play in the pub quiz. (We were clearly robbed of first place:-) I guess we need to return for another try.) great place and friendly staff and locals.

This was one of those unplanned visits that turned out to be a really enjoyable surprise. We were visiting the nearby, Cornish Rose Company, and needed a convenient lunch opportunity. The Plume of Feathers provided a most interesting and enjoyable experience with its conservatory which was light and airy inside, complete with full size olive tree. The interior design was... More

This once fabulous country pub has been "modernised" and truly ruined. On popping in for a meal with my family one evening we were at first quite impressed with the new orangery feel restaurant, then the food came! well after a 45 min wait for three simple meals including a hungry child's simple pasta, pork chops that were dry, tough...
