This place made me happy

I had not been to Maples in many years. Recently I took my daughter to dinner there. The Reuben was fabulous; hot and tasty. Sweet potato fries yummy and hot. I split a rice pudding with my daughter; it was rich, creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. Wait staff was quick and courteous... read more

Been here on and off through the years It is consistant, but consistantly average. Nothing stands out. The staff is ok, but they do favor their regulars. The food is ok but the servings are a bit sparce. The value is ok. They need to change things up, it is a boring place to eat.

I usually hit Maples for breakfast only. Never crowded, but breakfast items are always satisfying. Clean unlike other area dinners. Nice folks serving tables. Lots of attention.

We were seated very quickly on a Saturday morning. Then the wait began. 10 minutes to see our server. 15 more for coffee and our order to be taken. Twenty more minutes for our food to arrive. Decent food, nothing special, except for the bacon. It was amazing! Smokey sweet and cooked perfectly! I will give it another chance soon... More

My four friends from out of town kept talking about how great the food and the prices were...for a couple of days after visiting - and these are people always in restaurants! They raved about the clam chowder (I thought it pretty good also) and the seafood and pasta choices were quite satisfactory, not to mention more than adequate in... More

Tried this "flop" of a breakfast special --- expensive too... 3 dried overcooked chicken tenders with 3 tiny waffle wedges ~ not something I would ever recommend. (Don't these cooks know how to cook chicken without over-cooking it)

Good food, priced right. The staff are incredibly friendly, efficient, and customer service conscious. Kielbasa is the best thing I had.

Good little diner. It has been around for decades. They must be doing something right. I have been here for breakfast and lunch. The food is always good.
