What a find! Nice hot buttery lobster rolls (Connecticut style, as opposed to cold lobster rolls with mayo). Very nice menu with lots of additional items. They are supposed to have the best fried clams around, but I only had the lobster. They also have gluten free rolls. Nice variety of home baked cookies, too. Some picnic tables outside and... More

I've only tried the Lobster Rolls - but I keep going back for them! Better price than the shore and much closer. Always very hot and buttery. Yummy! There is very little seating. Fresh produce, home baked cookies, and variety of sandwiches.

We grew up in the Meriden area and now live out west. No visit to Meriden is complete without a visit to the Spoonshoppe Brook Deli for a lobster roll and some excellent potato salad or coleslaw for a side. My husband asked for jalapenos on his lobster roll and the staff cheerfully complied. The baked goods and cookies are... More

Hotel staff said to go here to get an "American lobster roll"... it was very buttery, lots of meat and served on a light sweet roll. Was decadent.

This unique spot offers great lunches. Their deli sandwiches are delicious and their potato salad is the best around. Call your order in ahead of time to avoid the wait.

a nice deli option for lunch in town. Can get seasonal fresh veggies and baked goods as well. Daily specials always worth a try. Nice family run business.

The fried clams and fried scallops are delicious. Their pies are also wonderful. It's very unpretentious and more of a place for take out unless you don't mind sitting at a folding table and chairs in the small seating area. They're probably best known for their wonderful pies and is very popular with the locals for luncheon take out.

I have had to go sandwiches here - and I went there the first time because I saw a fire-engine outside. If the firemen eat there I tend to give it a try! (My brother is a fireman) :)

My husband and I moved to this area recently and we were glad we tried this deli. It's a little set back from Main St.- looks more like a garden shop from the outside. They do sell local produce etc. but have full selection of sandwiches and lunch items. Great clam chowder and everything was very fresh. They had cookies... More
