Description: Celebrated Chef David Burke will bring his culinary expertise to Foxwoods Resort Casino, with the opening of David Burke Prime on July 9, 2008. All cuts of meat served at the restaurant will be imported directly from Creekstone Farms in Kentucky and dry-aged for 28 to 75 days in the restaurant’s in-house dry-aging room. In addition, David Burke Prime will offer thousands of bottles of premium wine from around the world. Located on the hotel level of Grand Pequot Tower in Foxwoods Resort Casino, the 13,000-square-foot steakhouse will seat 280 people and feature a 35-foot tall wine tower escalating up three stories to the casino level. In addition, the restaurant will include a 28-seat bar and 1,700-square-foot private banquet area, accommodating up to 100 people. Similar to David Burke’s Primehouse in Chicago, which was just voted Best Steakhouse in Chicago, David Burke Prime will feature an aging room with walls lined in imported pink Himalayan rock salt, crafted here in the U.S.

We were there at lunch and saw a sign for their $5 burger special (normally $15 and up.) So, we had burgers (which were tasty,) and an order of fries. First of all, $10 for one order of fries is ridiculous! But even worse, they were limp and greasy, probably the worst fries I have ever been served. How can... More

We eat at David Burke Prime almost every time we are at Foxwoods. The food and service are quite impeccable. Tonight we were there for the lobster special which is always perfect. In the past, we have sat at the chef's bar right in front of the kitchen and been delighted with the food preparation and the kind discourse the... More

We celebrated a birthday here last week and it felt very special. Our food was cooked perfectly, from the appetizers to the melt in your mouth filet mignon. The waitstaff was friendly, efficient and knowledgable. There were at least 3 members of management circulating, making sure that everything was to our liking. The atmosphere was rich and actually quiet enough... More

This place was firing on all cylinders. Great service, nice atmosphere, impeccable food, and they know how to pour a drink too. I recommend starting with the Cesar salad, which they make at your table side. And you have to get one of their dry aged steaks. I had the 55 day aged rib eye. Fantastic. My wife had the... More

I do not think that it was great but lovely and quite good. Our waitress was very nice but got most things wrong. We ordered clams on the half shell and got oysters which are more expensive. In all fairness she offered to change them but I hate waste so we kept them and they were good. My salad came... More

Over a year ago we wrote that David Burke was a superb restaurant. Not cheap but worth every penny. To a large degree it still is. My medium rare steak was still cooked perfectly. My wife and I split a couple of appetizers and they too were excellent. But my wife felt the side orders had "shrunk" over the last... More

Good goggly-moogly..What a great birthday dinner I had... - order the popover bread... TRUST!!! - good cocktails, appetizers and side dishes - dry-aged steaks that rival the best steakhouses in NYC (they even have a US patent on their dry-aging process) - try the "Drunken Donuts" for dessert

I went here with my fiance and the food was incredible. The cotton candy creme Brule and the warm popover with salted whipped butter were amazing. I do not drink alcohol so I asked for a mixology fruit punch and they brought me the most delightful tincture I have ever had at a dinner out. The steak was amazing and... More

A few years ago my husband and I decided to have dinner at David Burke Prime to judge for ourselves whether it was as good as our friends were telling us.
