Good steak at great price!

Whenever I'm craving for a good tasting steak at a reasonable price, I always go to Texas Roadhouse. Usually I'm taken to a table quickly and the service is usually good. It seems, these days, that just about every chain restaurant does the same with salt. You take a bite and there is so much salt that it bites your tongue. I would rather a little cause you sure can't take it out. All of the chains food is pre packed and highly salted. Hope your not on a low sodium... More

Like this location much more than Waterbury. Better service, less wait times, food cooked better, and music not too loud.

A friend and I went for an early supper on a Tuesday evening. I have been to this Texas Roadhouse a few time before it was always fine. We were seated promptly and had to get our own peanuts as service was slow. Steaks, rare, potato, and salads were ordered. Salads were quite good. Steaks arrived and the server wanted... More

I always liked the 6 ounce steak, particularly at the early afternoon cut rate price. This time I tried the boneless pork chop. Wow! Disappointed is an understatement. Could not see where the fat was so wound up spitting quite a bit out. Not pleasant. The steak is always perfect. Steak fries were excessively salty. Idea! Let us put as... More

Each meal comes with a delicious salad which has chopped egg and cheese in it along with delicious warm rolls and cinnamon flavored butter. The saying "Bet you can't just eat one" is true about the rolls. You receive some type of starch with your meal as well. The early bird specials are a good value. Be prepared to wait... More

Following a movie at the nearby theater I dropped in for an early dinner. I was amazed at the sub-$10 menu that included a small steak and two sides. Though the place lacked the crowd that you get later at night I felt fortunate for the early start and would definitely return next time I visit the area.

Oh my...well the design of the entry is really bad. Why would waiting customers wait at the food pick-up, bread & butter and beverage pick up counter and area. If you like the breath and body of more than the wait staff over your food just think of it as extra spices I guess??? At least you know the bread... More
