You are first greeted on the outside with beautiful flowers which invites you in. Once inside you are greeted by smiling and courteous staff. Service very prompt and food is well prepared and full of flavor. There are always specials and many dinners to choose from the menu. Great wine list as well as a fully stocked bar. Rooms can... Cozy semi casual atmosphere in the bar/lounge for lunch. If you are contemplating getting a chicken dish when you can have that home get it as they have the most delicious moist buttery chicken I have ever had! Girlfriend loved the shrimp scampi. Martinis are expensive… $10 but made correctly as ordered Due to the fact that three other women... More

We ate at the Allegre cafe on a Sunday evening. Not only did we both order a Sunday Dinner we loved everything about this restaurant. The meal was excellent and Keith our waiter was so knowledgeable about the ingredients and cooking style. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. Hopefully,mKeith... More

My husband and I have been to the Café many times. The food and service is always excellent. We've celebrated our anniversary there many times and the staff always makes it special for us and has even offered complimentary champagne.

We were invited back for a reception after an internment at the cemetery in the pouring rain. We arrived at 10:55AM and the doors were locked and all were left standing in the rain and freezing cold. We were a group of about 35. We could see people inside but they did not acknowledge us. How heartless could they be!... More

We were in town for a nearby conference, and happened by for dinner. The decor is very nice, and the menu offered some very nice choices. Those in our party ordered salmon in lobster sauce, veal with shrimp, and angel hair pasta with scallops. All of the meals came with a nice side salad with a tasty champagne vinagrette. I... More

We have been to Cafe Allegre many times. We got there about 6:30, the place was empty. We were able to get a seat at the bar for a cocktail before dinner. Drinks were good service was fine. Certain were seated about 7:15. We ordered wine, it took 20 minutes to get bread. I had the stuffed artichoke, good! My... More

Allegre is the place to go for quality Italian dining. The food is consistently very good as is the service. Two dining choices are offered; one is the nicer dining room where the atmosphere is quieter and the dress code is less relaxed. The second option is in the bar area. It is a room of it's own but connects... More

It is the best Italian food for miles. Always delivers a quality meal and the people are great. Will be busy during summer most nights, and very busy on weekends. If you want to go, be sure to call ahead and reserve.

Friendly cozy place to have really good Italian food. We plan on bringing our family back here the next time they are in town.
