Tends toward greasy seafood, but portions are large. They are running on fumes and reputation at this point.

I live in Madison and one of my kids worked there for a few summers during high school. It's very casual walk up service, find your own seating. Food is great if you like fried food. They do have some broiled items and lobster. Prices are OK for a resort town. The boss is great with the kids who work... More

Lobster bisque and a fish sandwich: Cost with tap water $10.94. The bisque was wonderful! Creamy, shreds of carrots, and several large lumps of lobster in the cup. I should have bought some to take home! The fish sandwich was okay. Portion was fine, The sandwich just seemed tired. perhaps it was from yesterday? I was the second patron of... More

The fried shrimp, clams, scallops and French fries are excellent. Their ice cream is also quite good. Portions can be smaller than they used to be as the food is not inexpensive, but overall it is worth the money.

People **love** this place--it is consistently packed throughout the summer. We have eaten at the Madison and Westbrook branches a few times, with consistent results. If you think this is great seafood, you've never had great seafood. If you want fried food, and a lot of it, with some leeway on how overcooked it's going to be, it's a winner.... More

Dependably fresh fish and seafood served in casual atmosphere. Most fun when you bring your own tablecloth, wine, candles. That is what the locals do, makes it like an indoor picnic where someone else does the cooking.

My finace' and Istopped here on our way to Mystic, CT and made a good decision. It's a typical seafood "diner" near the coast with a lot of locals. The food was very good, the staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect.

Lenny & Joe;s has three restaurants along the Ct. shoreline. It doesn't matter which one you eat at. I've given it five stars not for atmosphere or decor but because it is hands down the best seafood in the area, hands down. Always fresh, perfectly cooked. I have never had a bad meal there. The self-service restaurant in Madison is...well,... More

There are two - one in Madsion and we found another that is a bit more formal in Westbrook. In both food is fresh, reasonably price and served fast. Seafood can come fried, broiled or boiled. The lobster roll is superb, and the veggies - corn etc are served unadorned but hot and perfectly prepared. Great family spot. Nice people.... More
