Very Busy Popular Place

Fried seafood served hot fast and good! There were about 30 customers while I ordered. Our meals were placed and up for pickup in less than 10 minutes. Third of this large restaurant is fry cooks, third is order area and third is bench seating. I cannot believe they put out the quality and... read more

The fried shrimp and scallops we had were excellent. The lobster roll was very flavorful, but I do wish it had a little more meat. Their style of chowder was not as creamy as I like. The steamer clams looked excellent. I wish I ordered some.

We had a nice dinner. You order at counter off a menu on the wall and then wait for your order. I had the scrod dinner and my husband had the salmon dinner. We ordered from the broiled board. They also have fried fish selections. They have lots of tables-. The fish was very good- came with boiled potatoes and... More

Excellent seafood at fair prices. My family and I always make it down to Lenny and Joe's at least once every summer. Their lobster roles are fantastic with a ton of butter soaked lobster meat on a nicely toasted hot dog bun. The fish platter is always so moist and flaky as well. Even with how busy they are in... If you love a casual atmosphere, fresh fish fried up to perfection, heaping plates with french fries or onions rings, lobster rolls and outdoor picnic tables complete with a merry-g-round for the children, you can't pass up this fun restaurant on the Connecticut shore. I get the scallops every year and look forward to it all winter! You can get... More

Good order at the counter seafood place , very popular locally . A large part of the offerings are fried which we didn't have but they looked good, crisp and not greasy. We tried the lobster rolls which were very good but not the best on the CT coast (I like the Lobster Shack in Clinton much more) . Shrimp... More

This restaurant located less than a mile from hammonnassett state park on long island sound offers every seafood dish imaginable. Alcohol free, cafeteria style seating, indoor and out door seating freshest seafood, great for relaxed summer time chow. No frills just good fresh seafood. Outdoor merry go round for kids.

Family friendly, emphasis on fried seafood. This is a great stop after a day at Hammonasset Beach. Place your order and fairly quickly your number will be called and you can pick up your tray. Portions are good (couldn't finish the mound of nicely crisp onion rings) and we had no complaints about the fish sandwich, nor my whole belly... More

I needed a chowder for 50 people and was time restricted, then I remembered how much we loved Lenny and Joe's, so I called them, got advice on how much I would need, told when to pick up and it was ready as promised. It was the hit of our party and my lifesaver. Remember them for out parties as... More
