• Food was average and way over priced • Service was terrible • Tables dirty and sticky • They need an AC system that works All together this place is no different than McDonalds. Burger King or any other fast food chain

Enjoyed my lobster roll and all in our party (10,3 kids) liked their choices. We ate inside and adults were able to enjoy a glass of wine(BYOB)

lobster roll was very disappointing - mostly small, minced pieces ...no claw meat...no big chunks..and could have at least doubled the lobster ( since it was more bread than lobster) ..fish sandwich roll was a smaller type of roll..cross between deli roll and slider roll with piece of fish inside that left 3/4 inch of empty bread around the sandwich...no... During a visit to Madison ct stopped here to try this "land mark" eating spot. The place was pretty crowded but lots of areas to eat in and outside were available. Menu was pretty varied, but of course a lot of deep fried seafood. We choose the whole bellie clams and the fish and scallops.. all deep fried. The clams... More

I believe that this is the best of the chain. You place your order at the counter and then try to find a table. CT style lobster roll is among the best. Chowder is only fair Skip the NewHaven franchise. Sadly it doesn't match up, with either fried or broiled seafood

We went to the one with the ice cream stand and the carousel. The food was great (though my lobster bisque was a bit too thick) and the kids enjoyed the ice cream and carousel ride afterwards.

We went there for a family lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was not too busy and we got our food quick. The prices were out of control, never expected to pay nearly $80.00 for three bowls of chowder, steamers and two orders of fish and chips & kids ice cream cones. The steamers were good, and the fish was... More

I'm fairly certain those fans of Fish Tales will be aghast at a three star rating of this Madison landmark. But I have my reasons, and you'll see that I don't think poorly of the place. Essentially this location is a fancy fast food place specializing in seafood. Place your orders at the counter, get a number and wait. We... More

Lenny & Joe's is an must-stop for my family. If we don't get there at least once a year, we feel something is missing in our lives! I always read the reviews here before I go, and am surprised to see something negative, and fear the place has changed. This year was no different - among the reviews were one... More
