Great service. Great food. NO COMPLAINTS!

Traveling through on business and read others reviews. It looks like a diner but with an Asian /American modern twist. Booths seem private with the curtains, great touch! Great service! Traveling through on business and read others reviews. It looks like a diner but with an Asian /American modern twist. Booths seem private with the curtains, great touch! Great service! The server was friendly and extremely helpful with our difficult decisions on what to order. Everything on the menu sounded amazing. So, we narrowed it down to this: Appetizer was... More

This place has the best possible food. It's really good if you are looking for something different, and you won't be disappointed! Anything you get off that menu would be simply breath taking! When you taste their food, you can tell that it is real ethnic food; not some knock off restaurant claiming to serve thai. I have been there... More

We ate at this Asian diner a few years ago and are glad to say that the food is still great. This time we had the Drunken noodles with seafood, the Wild Boar stir fry, and crispy spring rolls as our appetizer. Everything was delicious. Our meal came to about $ 34.00 including tax, tip and two soft drinks. Not... More

This is great food at a very reasonable price! If I didn't have to drive all the way to West Hartford I'd eat there 3 times per week. It's authentic thai cuisine, impeccably done, and the whole family can eat without wrecking the bank!

While Thai food is served at this restaurant, along with some Vietnamese and Japanese dishes, this is a Laotian restaurant. But both the Laotian and Thai food are exceptional. I would, however, stay away from the Vietnamese and Japanese dishes because they aren't authentically prepared. I took a friend who works with some Laotian folks to East West Grill. They... More

A 1950s chrome diner meets Thai restaurant. This was one of my best dinners in Hartford! I had the Green Curry with Chicken and it was delightful. I only wish I was not traveling and could have take the left overs home. A great place!

Food is good, service can be slow, but not unbearable. Maybe just because I was hungry. Tried several items and wasn't disappointed. Getting out of the parking lot can be a pain, especially during rush hour, but this place is worth a try.

Have been for lunch a number of times and we are always very satisfied great selection of Thai and Lao food, and each new choice is as good as the last. Our family does not do brunch or breakfast out very often, so last Sunday we decided to venture over to the East West Grill for a special treat. East West was packed and the staff was pretty busy, so it took a little while to get a server, which is part of the reason I gave it only 3 stars.... More

Don't let the building fool you. It is a 50's diner that's been converted into a great Asian restaurant. The menu is based on thai and Lao dishes. I had lunch there with a vegan colleague who said it was some of the best Asian food he's had. I agree !
