This restaurant looks like a diner! Don't be fooled by outward appearances! Very high quality Thai food, and friendly service also. The diner type setting makes it a little more quirky, and all the more enjoyable. Don't have a great knowledge of Thai food to compare it with, but all I can say is that it was tasty and seemed... We frequently eat at Thai restaurants back home in Florida, so when we saw this listing we had to try it. Quirky 50s type diner setting and great authentic Thai food. We particularly enjoyed the live Thai music during dinner. We'll be back the next time we're in town.

They are very nice people, family oriented operation. It's a bit sweet side on any sauces and portion is very nice and full. It's hard to go to a big group since it is renovated diner cart.

Residents of the Hartford area are fortunate -- there are a number of good Asian restaurants in town. But for our money, this is the best! The food is wonderful - our absolute favorites include the egg noodle soup, pad see ew and pad woonsen -- from start to finish! Add to that tremendously good and welcoming service -- one... More

I am on this Thai kick lately....looking for the next best thing...I think I found it. First of all, I am loyal to the King and I , located not far from here and very highly ranked here on Trip Advisor. This is such a cool spot. Clearly built as an old classic diner from years past, with a whole... More

I work nearby, so I frequently dine at East West Grille on my lunch hour. While sometimes inconsistent, the food is usually pretty good. I decided to bring my family out for an evening of Thai food. It was the first time I had been there on a weekend or for dinner. My husband and elementary school aged twins were... More

We have been coming here for 10 years since I saw the owner interviewed on a PBS station. The food never disappoints. This time we had the coconut calamari and autumn spring roll to start. The calamari was without question the best I have ever had. I could have made a meal of it, and told the server it should... More

I have been driving by this restaurant for years and was surprised by how many cars were in the lot. The place looks like an old diner with plants in pots all around the building. I checked the name on Tripadvisor and found some great reviews. We ended up going to lunch and getting the 3 sampler special that includes... More

We arrived on a Thursday evening at around 6PM and pulled into the small parking lot. The restaurant was almost surrounded by pots containing fresh herbs plus some flowers. On entering, we greeted and directed to a booth, but the combination of air conditioning and ceiling fans proved to be too much so we moved to the opposite end of... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we found this place while driving up the highway. It is an old diner that's been made into a Thai-Lao restaurant. It's definitely not much to look at from the outside. In fact, it looks rather odd--with potted herbs in front of the building, along the side and in back. The inside looks like a diner,... More
