Very good arabic food served in a certified halal establishment. Chicken shwarma and falafel were both excellent and salads were fresh and tasty. You could do much worse in downtown Hartford.

I ate here years ago and stopped going due to dirt or grit in the falafel. I tried it again today, the falafel has no flavor and every bite has grit or dirt in it. Maybe the grit is in the lettuce, but I find it amazing that after all this time it is the same issue.

Simple place that has amazing middle eastern food. Hummus is fantastic plus you get plenty of the real pita, not the fake stuff from the supermarket. Their kabobs and falafel is tasty, too. They also serve pizza, which is surprisingly good, too. Hidden gem!

Have been here a few times; a friend does not drink alcohol so this halal restaurant is ideal. The décor is clean but uninspired. The staff are quiet and not extremely outgoing; it may be cultural uneasiness as I observe that they liven up a bit when Middle Easterners come in. And I also find, if you smile at them... More

I parked around the corner and arrived early as staying 20 miles south - was early for a meeting. They had the BEST quick food and nice guys in the place. Tasty food - good prices to value.

Food was awesome but the people working there are very rude. I guess its a cultural thing. The place wasnt busy but the service sucks.

Ordered on phone for takeout. Order was ready when we went to pickup. The food was excellent . The dolma were light and flavorful. The lamb kofta was medium rare and superb. Salad was simple fresh and crisp. Falafel was ver good and the hummus is some of the best around.

Wife and I recently went to a George Strait concert at the XL Center and stumbled upon this place. I had a steak and cheese grinder while my wife enjoyed a chief salad with chicken. The food was great, large portions and while the place was crowed the staff kept everything moving.

the food was disappointing and the atmosphere wasnt very nice either. It was also confusing when and what to order, because you stand in line and get nervous because of others waiting. I needed time, as I am not familiar with this food. Everything I ordered was not good.

Its kind of a hole in the wall outfitted with tile and wood, which makes it a bit noisy. The menu is vast and varied with a variety of Greek and Mideast standards like spanakopita, falafel, baba gannoush, etc. The staff is eager to serve and will cheerfully answer any questions you might have about the food. The food is... More
