We ate their just recently in September and on Saturday Oct 5th 2014 went to return only to find that this great place has closed. If anyone knows the story of why please post the information. Jim

Really good Portuguese food, enjoyed the Portuguese style steak, loved the combo and the soup they made was amazing as well, love having a good Portuguese beer as well, we stopped on the way up to New Hampshire for business and had dinner here it was well worth the minor detour to find the place but a great atmosphere and... I have been to O'Porto for drinks and appetizers before and enjoyed it so I decided to do dinner. We shared sangria which seemed a bit on the weak side. I had delicious pumpkin and kale soup to start. We all had paella because the menu seemed pricey and this was the most reasonable offering. My family shared the meat... More

This is a great place for a romantic dinner, great food, and a good time. The only wed thing was that at one point there were the waiters/waitresses standing by the bathroom and they didn't move when i was waking in.... It was a gloomy day outside so they were probably just bored.

My girlfriends and I try to connect quarterly to catch up on family and our lives. We come here to enjoy great food and good wine. sometimes the service can be slow but once the food arrives all is forgiven. Great food.

We eat at O'Porto about once a month and find it to be extremel consistant. The Portuguese specialities are always outstanding. Don't expect more than iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers, if you order a salad. Go right for the native appetizers especially the chorizo, clams or calamari. Better yet, have the grilled Octopus - its perfectly cooked, with a right... More

4 went here to celebrate our anniniversary and use a Groupon discount coupon. 2 dishes were ok, the clams and pork stew and the sole. The shrimp was soaked in butter. I had the grouper. It was inedible. I passed it around and everyone gagged. It was doused in salt and tasted awful. The slice of eggplant underneath was raw.... More

We enjoyed our early dinner experience. The wait staff were professional a friendly. We ordered the chorizo sausage appetizer that was served flaming. I was disappointed with the friend calamari. It was in a tempura style batter and the sauce was hard to figure out. The atmosphere is nice for families and couple alike.

My husband & I have visited this fine restaurant twice, and both times were extremely pleased with our meals. Neither of us our of Portuguese decent, so we can't speak to the authenticity of the various dishes we've sampled, however, we can attest to the deliciousness, the freshness, the outstanding variety, and the fair, affordable prices. We would also be... More

4 of us went to O'Porto for the first time, during the Taste of Hartford 2014 and we were pleasantly surprised!! We loved the building, an old industrial building done over in a cozy dining room and nice bar area. Our waitperson, Dee, was most helpful when trying to choose from the large menu. We were brought warm Portuguese rolls... More
