No matter what you order, from appetizers to dessert, you can't go wrong at Agave's. The people are friendly and food authentic and must I say the guacamole dip is the best I have ever tasted. And you can't get it any fresher, its made right at your table. The restaurant is small, but the wait is always worth it.

I looked up this place and thought I would give it a shot....a simple small place with a nice atmosphere. Wide variety of entrées and the chips and salsa were very tasty. Staff was pleasant, attentive and very efficient. I would defiantly stop by again if I'm near by.

Run-of-the-mill tex-mex style mexican food mostly indistinguishable from most mex chains I've been to. SO is mexican, so I've had my share of authentic mexican food, and this ain't it. Better bet: find their food truck out and about the city for cheaper, fresher fare without any of the tired trappings or corona gear.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites and had a 2 minute walk to brunch in the morning on Sunday. The downside was that they don't open until 11, but it was worth the wait. It was quiet, and for a while we were the only ones in there. The breakfast menu was limited and it was kind of hard to... More

Went for lunch, not too busy at 11:30 but packed by 12. The salsa and guacamole were good. I had three soft tacos, fish, chicken and chorizo. I didn't care for how wet and sloppy the chicken was, and the flavor if the chorizo was just too bold. The fish one seemed spot on. Decent Mexican, nothing extraordinary.

Everything was so delicious! Our only problem was that the servings were so large we had more food than we knew what to do with (not a bad problem to have). The staff was friendly and service was fast.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican restaurant look elswhere. The food is ok but could've been better. The Mojito would've been better if some sort of effort was put into it. The service was terrible. The waitress was rarely seen, had an empty cup for about 15 minutes. Overall my experience was not the best here. There are way... More

We went on a rainy Monday and had a great meal! It was margarita Monday so that was great. We had the guacamole made at your table which was delicious and a nice touch. My husband and I each had tacos on soft shell, both chicken and fish, messy but very tasty! Agave has a really great vibe and the... More

The guacamole is not be missed! It is fresh, made tableside and amazing!! My husband and I have been there twice, love the service, atmosphere and feel of the place. I took my sister there who was visiting from CA and she loved it! Great margaritas too!!

We stopped at Agave Grill for a quick meal and to try their awesome margaritas. The menu options were endless with a lot of variety. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated by the window as we requested. Our waitress offered to bring us some guacamole and to our surprise, it was prepared fresh right before our eyes! The service was... More
