This was my second time at Agave. First time was for lunch. We started with chips and guacamole which is made fresh but expensive at $11. We had the empanadas, tacos, and flutas. The second time on a Saturday for a family dinner we had flutas, empanadas, tacos, enchiladas, and chicken wrap everything was delicious. The service was a little... More

We stopped in at Agave Grill for a quick bite to eat before seeing a show in Hartford. It seemed to have some good reviews so we were hoping it would live up to the hype. It did. Our waiter was noticeably good at his job - he was the type of guy that always seemed to be there when... More

The food is delicious, the servers are friendly...what more could you ask for? It's a favorite of the family!

I have been to this location in the past but have not been in a few years. I was there for dinner before an event at XL Center. Our server was excellent, and knowing we were going to a game next door, had our meals ready and out in a timely manner. The food was excellent, and much improved from... More

This is the second time I have been at Agave for brunch with the family. We all enjoy all the items we have eaten. Appetizers are big, as are the meals. Both times we ate here, we took home left overs, which makes the meals well worth the price you pay. The restaurant is very cozy. You have everyone from... More

One of the few places in Hartford open on Sunday. Food was excellent. Had the street and Alhambre tacos. So much we had to bring some home!

Made at your table, the fresh guacamole is totally addictive. At $11, it's a little pricey, but totally worth it. Danielle, our server, was great, attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed the pork barbeque quesidillas and some delicious fish tacos. The portions are ample. There is an extensive list of tequilas amd beers. We enjoyed the sangria. Agave is on... More

Agave is one of the few Hartford restaurants open on a Sunday afternoon, and thankfully it was absolutely wonderful. My husband ordered the Machaca and I ordered the Agave Street Tacos with chipotle sauce. The tacos blew me away. There was a sweetness and a bite that mixed perfectly ... and the beans and rice were great. Chris, our waiter,... More

This is above average but not fantastic Mexican food. Our party of 10 was served capably and cheerfully by Stephanie. Guacamole made table-side was amazingly good. My lobster enchiladas were tasty but again didn't knock my socks off.
