Very good baked goods and breads

wow- been here many times, and the items are each delicious and satisfying. This past weekend, I had some easter influenced boiled egg in a challah-type bread concoction that was creative if anything. The list of baked goods is expansive. We tried the carrot cake, chocolate mouse cake, chocolate rum balls and all were very tasty. Can't wait to go back and try a new selection. The service was excellent. The young lady behind the counter was cheerful and very knowledgeable about the many selections . They also have a caffe next door... More

My mother ordered fifteen pounds of cookies which when they arrived were crushed and they were for an anniversary party; I spoke with Paolo and Gina Mozzicato early this morning and I would like to share this nightmarish and traumatizing experience in the hopes this does not happen to any other customers: I had called two months ago and spoke... We never drive by without stopping at Mozzicato's the dessert's are amazing. You don't have to travel to NYC' little Italy to have great Italian pastry. Everything here is home made and delicious. They make the best birthday cakes as well. This is your old fashioned bakery at its best!!!

I ordered a fruit cake for my birthday and it was splendid. The cake was plain, so I asked to decorate it and the girls have put a smiley on it. Even though I was buying a cake I had some change left, which allowed me to buy a few dougnuts.

After dinner at Asian Bistro we went to the old standard for dessert. Elegant, modern, with old world style and class.

Horrible, horrible customer service!! My husband wanted a cannoli cake for his birthday. We had a cannoli cake made several years back for our wedding but it was from Chimirri's and it was excellent. I decided to order from Mozziato's instead (don't know why). I called and told whomever I spoke to that my husband wanted a cannoli for his... More

The pastries, cakes, etc.. Are as good as it gets. The rum cake... Let's just say you can't stop at one slice. As one reviewer put it," scary neighborhood!" No doubt about that!!! The city of Hartford is to blame for all the blight and degenerates that p!$$ all over that city. Go there in the morning before the scummy,lazy,welfare,... More

My Grandfather, Father, Daughter, and I are loyal customers of Mozzicato. My Grandfather came to the United States in 1916, and use to tell me when he walked into that bakery it reminded him of the "old country". I wouldn't know about that but I do know the products at Mazzicato are outstanding. Italian cookies, Rum cakes, pastries, Pizza, spinach-sausage... More
