Melt in your mouth surf & turf...

As the title states.... The prime rib is just so darn perfect. I'll humble my self and disclose that I have a 'teeth' problem, but not when I'm having a religious experience with the Prime Rib....it melts....in my mouth. Ok.....melting is a term I am using relative to the texture of the Meat... read more

The Chowder Pot is located right off the highway. Easy to find with generally ok parking. The happy hour is great and the seafood selections awesome!

I had only been to Chowder Pot 3 times in the past and it was always very good. Lately, some of the reviews were more critical so I wasn't so sure it would still be as good. But, last week, a friend wanted to go there, so we did. I was happy to find that it is every bit as... More

We saw the Chowder Pot on our way to the Launch Trampoline Park on a Saturday. We decided to visit for a late lunch, early dinner after we left the park. Food and drinks were good. Hands down the best RI chowder my husband an I have ever had. Loved the atmosphere and the ambiance. Service was good until the... More

It's in a convenient location for our drive between CT and NH so we often stop for a quick dinner. Service is good, food fairly reasonable and decent choices.

Haven't been there for 30 yrs. It has done well without me! I am not a seafood person so was happy they had some good landlubber choices. My friend really enjoyed her baked scrod. They have several specials every night, great little loaf of baked bread with a super buttered top. It was a Wednesday but the place almost entirely... More

Visited with family and two friends plus their two year old. There was no wait and this is atypical for this restaurant. The greeter/hostess was cheerful and the bathrooms were clean. It was quite full on the inside with lots of large parties. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. She took accurate drink and food orders. Love their bread with... More

Last night a group of three of us went to Chowder Pot IV, in Hartford, CT. We ate at the bar since it was around 8 pm. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri which was the first disappointment, it was watered down meaning as soon as it was served the bottom of the glass was pure liquid this was supposed to... More

We had a marvelous meal with very attentive service.Everyone in our party ordered some sort of seafood dish, and all were fresh and properly prepared. Although the place was crowded, the service was befitting of a much more expensive restaurant. This is one of the best values in town. Highly recommended.
