Good place to hang out in evenings

It is a good place to hang out and have a drink with colleagues and customers. The location is great which is right in the Hartford Downtown. The place gets crowded so better to go with a reservation. On a pleasant day, you can sit outside as well.

Dined here this past Saturday for lunch. Service was friendly and prompt. Ordered a special drink they had called a "New Fashioned" and it was fantastic. While waiting for my lunch, the server brought me a bread basket with delicious fresh breads and a soft cheese type spread that was delicious. The angus cheeseburger and fresh cut fries I had... The wonderful meal started with a bloody oyster shot that was outstanding. The sweet potato and shrimp fritters were some of my favorite appetizers. The pork shank was tender and tasty and served with a delicious au gratin.

I went after work with a couple colleagues and would definitely come back again. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks. Staff also checked up on us at appropriate times for drinks and food. As a beer guy, their craft selection was great. The food was very delicious as well. Very great experience overall.

I was in Connecticut on business and passed through downtown Hartford right around noon time. I happened upon Trumbull Kitchen. The outside patio was hopping which I took as a good sign, so I opted to visit and grab a quick bite for lunch. I sat at the bar and the service was quick and efficient, but I wouldn't say... More

First let me say the location is nice, Good service and the staff very pleasant. The bread was nice, we had the fondue with potatoes for app.. basically a deconstruction of a potato skin. Was just ok. My wife had a salad that also came out deconstructed.. strange since she had to mix the ingredients herself. She said the dressing... More

Husband and I ate here while visiting Hartford for the weekend. Within walking distance from our hotel (Downtown Marriott). We enjoyed lunch outside on the patio - nice wine list, yummy, piping hot appetizer (Curry Noodles) and delicious entrees. Portions were generous and presented perfectly! We saw a few other things on the menu we would have loved to try... More

My family ( w/3 kids) went there for lunch. Menu was good but, it was as good as I expected with the power lunch price. The waiter was good but slow. It took them more than 1 hour to bring us main dish. The waiter did not notice bringing bread at the beginning, not filling up water until we asked. Chicken... More

This is a great place to get a seasonal meal in the downtown area. The menu changes with the seasons and the ingrediants are fresh. If you have a Max Restaurant Group card, make sure you use it here since it is part of it! The only downside is the lack of parking. You might need to park in a... More
