Very tasty sandwiches - great value

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch during the week. The restaurant was very quiet and we were promptly seated. We each ordered focaccia sandwiches. Between the portion sizes of the sandwiches and the bread that was provided, we couldn't finish our meals and took them to go. They were very... read more

My family came here in May, and the service was awful. We figured it was due to the size of our party, and left it at that. My fiance and I came in tonight for dinner, and our service was just terrible. Molly ( I think that was her name) couldn't have rushed us out the door any faster. The... More

This restaurant is great! Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Had the chicken Parmesan. Awesome! Server went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Being from the south, my daughter (who is 9) had never tried a cream soda. We just don't have it much down here. We were afraid to get her one because we were afraid... More

We had family in from San Antonio Texas. The Family heard about the great pizza restaurants on the East Coast. They had already eaten at Grimaldi’s in New York and wanted to try another restaurant in Hartford. Their son (14) reminded them New York was not New England. Therefore, we treated them to our favorite restaurant on Maple Street in... More

We have eaten pizza at just about all of the restaurants in our area, including the three other first and last restaurants. The pizza served in Hartford, the original, cannot be beat. It is superior to the New Haven pizza places by far. If you go from Friday through Sunday you are treated to the most flavorful bread basket you... More

Needing a place to have guests aged 4 to 101 satisfied we went here for lunch on a Saturday. We were greeted pleasantly and seated at a table for 6 close to the door which was convenient for my mom. While they have an extensive Italian menu, pizza was our order of the day. We ordered our drinks and the... More

seriously can't beat a first and last Pie.. I have lived up in this area for 2 1/2 years and the pizza is always good. I can not comment on the pastas and entrees since I mainly go to Happy Hour. From 4-6 you can get 1/2 price pizzas and $6 apps it's a great deal! And of course drinks... More
