We are frequent patrons of First and Last.. We especially enjoy going for happy hour as drinks (beer&wine) appetizers and pizzas are half price.. It's a great way to try different pizzas and apps at a very affordable price. I have never ordered anything other than pizza and salad but I see plenary of food coming out of their kitchen

The First and Last Tavern is a popular place to meet friends and coworkers for a casual dinner in Hartford. Good food and service.

Awful food. Don't get fooled by their history of good quality food. It's been lost with uncaring owner that allows kitchen to put out bad food. No standards and disrespectful to the original family that had made the name. I would not go back ever. First time I went and the last time I'll ever go back to that nasty... More

My husband and I went for lunch, the restaurant was quite and not crowded. Our waitress was fantastic. I had the eggplant parmigiana which was lightly breaded, and so delicious. My husband had the buffalo chicken pizza, which was new on the menu. He said it was the best he ever had. We will be back there real soon, this... More

The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. We have lived I just outside the area and have been coming here for over 20years! Best Italian around!

Love the white pizza. Always crowded and busy but it's what you expect at this infamous eatery. Middle of the road prices but the pizza doesn't disappoint! Noisy but fun...

Our visit this evening was perhaps our first time back in over 10 years. The place is the same. We arrived around 6:00PM on a Saturday, thinking that the wait would be minimal. The hostess said it wouldn't be "long". I guess that depends on your definition of "long". While waiting, we had plenty of opportunity to watch other people's... More

Have been there a few times and have never been disappointed. This restaurant started as a small bar/restaurant years ago. I lived just up the street from it and it was always very busy. We would order take out at least once a month and enjoyed it very much.

Always good and consistent. My favorites are the chicken pram and piccata. The pizza is amazing. Thin crust with good sauce and flavors. I like the mushrooms they use. Awesome desert like cheesecake and Italian pastries. The coffee and cappuccinos are excellent. Good service and atmosphere. They treat you like family. The restaurant itself is really cool nice bar and... More
