Nice Paella

Had the Calamari app, it was a nice change. They grilled and sautéed it in garlic oil. The tenderness was some of the best I've had and the flavors were a welcomed change, a bit salty though. The chicken and chorizo paella was great, and will definitely bring me back here again!

The passage of time invariably brings changes, some for the better and some for the worse. Though we have been frequenting this Spanish-inspired restaurant for approximately 25 years, it has been almost 4 years since we last crossed its threshold. The small parking lot was nearly filled to capacity at 12:30PM on a Wednesday afternoon while the dining room continues... More

Went to lunch recently. Two of us had the Monkfish special. It was supurb. Done to pefrection with great seasoning and presentation. Nice lunch size portion and reasonable price for the quality of the meal. One of our group had a pasta dish and raved about it. Only complaint is that they don't offer soups in cups. The bean soup... We came here for a Birthday dinner. Our group had Champagne and Red Sangria both were wonderful! Then we had Paella for four which had chicken, clams, shrimp, mussels, and sausage. After dinner we shared two desserts and had some after dinner drinks. You will not leave hungry! We never felt rushed or pressured. Our group will be back for... More

I've been here a few times. This time it was a bit off their perfection. It is authentic spanish or portuguese food. The grilled calamari with paprika and the cockles were very good apps. I know that Bacalao is salty but this was too salty. The seafood of clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops and fish in a green broth was very... More

I been reviewing places on TripAdvisor for a little while. I did it when traveling, never thought to do so when in my home Town. Last week when I walk thru the doors of “Costa del Sol”, I notice the TripAdvisor decal, then I realize, “Geez, I’m being unfair here, this place deserve a review too”. So this review has... More

Went there with a groupon and wasn't disappointed. Very authentic food. We had the chicken and sausage paella which is plenty for two. It was very good. Service was very good, we believe it was one of the owners. We will be back.

We ate here during the "Taste of Hartford 2015" using their fixed-price menu, which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The Fabada soup was tasty, the main course Paella came in a large pan that filled the center of the table, as all 4 of us ordered it. The Flan and rice pudding top'd off the dinner nicely. There... This is a restaurant you can count on. It has a gated parking area under bright lights, a real plus in the city. Unlike many of today's restaurants, you can actually have a conversation. It offers consistently fine service with a very professional wait staff. Francisco was especially friendly and helpful in accommodating a food intolerance. Good martinis, Spanish beer... More
