I have been here for lunch three times loved it every time. Their burnt ends are great. They have healthy portions of good food. You won't regret it!!!

Black-Eyed Sally's may have been inspired by southern comfort foods but they have put their own spin on traditional barbecue ribs, chicken and all the fixins'! Arguably the best standards of mac' n cheese, fried pickles, collard greens and cornbread offerings this far north of the Mason/Dixon line. Black-Eyed Sally's also offers their own selection of "sauce" to enhance their... More

Little place across from huge parking lot. Not far from the Capitol building. Prices were average but the food was above average. The beef brisket and the pulled pork was the best. The coleslaw was so good. Great atmosphere !

A local recommended Black-Eyed Sally's for BBQ and we were not disappointed! The entire restaurant is much larger than it looks like, complete with a large live stage, about a dozen Elvis's on velvet, photo's and even a bust really accent the jazz decor very nicely. This is the most southern place in the northeast and has some righteous "Q".... More

The atmosphere is casual, the food is not great, but it's a fun spot to kick back for a few drinks and listen to some live music! They bring in some great local talent, and out of towners that get people up on their feet

Black-eyed Sally's is one of the only places I really ever visit in Hartford anymore. It is consistently good BBQ and they offer some of the best blues/jazz around...period end!!! I've been exposed to some of the best (unknown by me) bands I've seen in a long time which has opened my eyes to the variety of excellent bands out... More

We went to Hartford to see a blue's show at this restaurant, the cover charge was just $10.00 ,we had a table next to stage, food was great, service prompt ,friendly staff, music was really great and guests were dancing ,really lively place. I would definitely return.

My husband & I dined at Black Eyed Sally's on a Saturday night in October after taking the train home from NYC. It's very close to Union Station, so it was very convenient. We had a very short wait for our table, which was outside the main room - a plus if you want to hear yourself talk over the... More

Both the beef brisket and the ribs had the texture of processed meat, aka pink slime. The ribs consisted of a 3"x4"x3/4" block of a substance that had no flavor, however, there were 3 rib bones inside the block. The beef brisket consisted of dry thin slices of something that neither resembled nor tasted like meat. The only part of... More
