I still like this place a lot!

Second time to Sally's this past Saturday night and the place was packed. We really like this place so just want to mention a couple of minor issues to make it even better. This Hartford barbecue restaurant is a excellent selection for a Saturday night date. The food is very good and the entertainment southern style. Having lived in the South, this establishment brought back pleasant memories of good food combined with toe taping music. Service was very good and the beer offerings plentiful.

I've enjoyed frequenting this restaurant for the past 15 years, when on business in Hartford. If you enjoy live Blues music as well as Louisiana style Bar-b-que, then you'll enjoy Black Eyed Sally's. For me, the best night of the week here is on Wednesday evening when they have open mike. The music is great and the food is great... More

Definitely not my last trip to Hartford to Black Eyed Sally's! I took my son down to perform with a band he is in - and we decided to go early for a proper dinner before the performance. The vibe of the place is welcoming and so homey - yet jazzy cool... We started with Calamari & Crawfish Tails and... More

A friend and I got a late dinner after arriving in Hartford. Unfortunately my friend had a health episode so I can't really remember the dining experience. However, I want to give a special shout out to the staff who helped my friend when she took ill. They even offered to help me walk her to our hotel next door.... More

The atmosphere here is great, especially on a Fri/Sat night. The good is great and the menu is eclectic and suits all tastes! I have been here a few times and not been disappointed once.

Made reservations for party of five. When we arrived after a show in Hartford, we were seated immediately and the service was good. Very tasty food but 3 out of the 5 plates served were cold. Atmosphere was good and not too noisy.

This a a reat place for Southern cooking up north. The corn bread that comes with meals is the moistest I every had. Great place to hear Blues and they do a fanastic Fat Tuesday every year shades of New Oleans.
