Co-workers and I enjoyed two large Cobb Salads (with guacamole), chicken and cheddar quesadillas, and fish tacos with waffle fries. Food was ready for pick-up in 25 minutes (on time) and was fresh and well packed. Portion sizes for the Cobb Salads were quite large. The City Steam building is unique and worth the visit.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Awesome building. Excellent burgers. Grilled chicken sandwiches ok. A little pricey, but would return if in the area.

Great beers and so nice to have a comedy club in downtown Hartford. The food is ok - but hit or miss. However, I'm not the biggest fan of pub food like this to begin with so Im a little biased. Sometimes the food has been pretty tasty - other times I wish I went to Bocca Rossa next door... More

We arrived at 6:00 PM on a Tuesday and found the happy hour crowd sampling many of the beers produced in the brewery part of this interesting and historic ("romanesque") building. The food is mostly pub fare, but there is something to please most every palate. Just don't expect alot of entrees to choose from. This building was a department... More

Nice walk from our hotel for some good local brew! All of the beer selections we made on our sampler were great, and a good value. For dinner we had Fish and Chips and the Pot Roast; both were good. The service was quick and friendly.

In downtown and not far from the XL center on Main St. Very convenient. The beer is awesome; they have several of their own brands on tap; I prefer the Naughty Nurse (yes, that's what it's called) but White Wedding is also nice (I think that's an IPA; not sure). If you're going there to have a Budweiser, YOU'RE WRONG!... More

The City Steam Brewery is in a beautiful old romanesque building, and they have done a nice job with the interior. There is a good selection of beer and cocktails, and the staff was friendly. Given all this, we were surprised that the service was very slow and were disappointed with the food. My wife had the sesame encrusted Tilapia,... More
