This microbrewery is a good spot to hang out in the middle of the day or late at night. The burgers are very juicy.

Have been here for dinner before but never for lunch. Menu is quite varied. Place has many areas to dine. Was pretty quiet inside compared to coming here for dinner. Service is quite good. Great place to come with a large group! TV screens and bar is available. Food is quite good with huge portions! Parking is via street meters... More

I decided to go here because I was staying at the Residence Inn downtown and I didn't want to go very far. Great place to go before or after an event or outing. I had a wonderful experience here. My waitress was extremely attentive and made great recommendations on beer and food. The place was very down to earth and... More

Never disappointing City Steam is a great place to eat, drink and have fun. From the most amazing building you have ever seen to a great burger and food selection to the best beer and service in CT. This is a must visit location. Love it. I travel 1.5 hours every month to enjoy this fantastic location

Had a great burger, ordered pink, tasty to the last bite! Tacos were just as good, with three to the plate, plenty to share. Would recommend Heidi in the Hallway to wash it all down! If going in the winter make sure you don't get a table by the front door, burrrrrr!

Have been there many times, never had a bad meal and the beers are great! Great place before or after an event in Hartford. Good for lunch before a UCONN game!

Granted we were there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, but this place was remarkable for beer, menu selections and a noise level that allowed reasonable conversation--unusual in a brewery. The place is really big (having taken over the old G Fox department store with multiple levels), tables are spread out, and the decor really nice for the old time... More

Food is average. Prices average. Beer was good, but I've had just as good elsewhere where food, atmosphere and service were better. Service was terrible. Our waiter was MIA except to take our order, deliver food and bring the check. We actually had to hunt him down to have get our check!

GREAT burgers and great comfort food in a nice cozy atmosphere just steps away from the Hartford Civic Center and other attractions in downtown Hartford. Part of a great renaissance of the city and so friendly, great waitstf, pool tables in the back, outstanding beer selection )that is what they do!) Don't miss this when in Hartford even for a... In Hartford on business and were directed here by hotel staff...what a pleasant surprise! Excellent menu selections and tasty brews. The Naughty Nurse was our favorite and our server, Bethany G, recommended the perfect entrees to accompany it. We will definitely return on future business visits!
