Had the beach blanket bingo beer which was very good. We also sampled the wings, quesadillas and pizza - all of which were average at best. The wings and quesadillas were a bit cold and the pizza was not the best we ever had but not bad either. Overall it was a good option for a quick meal and a... More

Excellent dinner and beer selection. Went for dinner and stopped back at the end of the night to sample more beer.

I at the Steam City Brewery twice while in Hartford on business. Both nights the food was excellent and the staff very professional and accommodating. I can recommend the beef medallions and the Southwest Chopped Shrimp Salad. My companion had the Seared Salmon and commented that it was quite good. There is a nice beer selection but hands down my... More

While the beer selection pleased the drinking members in our party, the food was just OK. The salads were good, but the pulled pork sandwich was dry. It was the large order of nachos that was the most disappointing. The chips were good, but the amount of each topping was minimal. Added the chicken, which was nothing special. Our server... More

The food is good, its very old fashioned inside, its beautifully designed, and their beer is very good! They also have pool tables and a nice bar area. Great place to go to for a hang out spot or just to lounge and drink!

Had early dinner here before attending concert. Told waitress that we needed be eating n out by certain time. Which was respected. Only complaint , I have server food allergies, which I told waitress about. After placing my order waitress looked at me confused, stated why would you tell me about food allergy if nothing you order has what you... More

Co-workers and I enjoyed two large Cobb Salads (with guacamole), chicken and cheddar quesadillas, and fish tacos with waffle fries. Food was ready for pick-up in 25 minutes (on time) and was fresh and well packed. Portion sizes for the Cobb Salads were quite large. The City Steam building is unique and worth the visit.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Awesome building. Excellent burgers. Grilled chicken sandwiches ok. A little pricey, but would return if in the area.

Great beers and so nice to have a comedy club in downtown Hartford. The food is ok - but hit or miss. However, I'm not the biggest fan of pub food like this to begin with so Im a little biased. Sometimes the food has been pretty tasty - other times I wish I went to Bocca Rossa next door... More
