Great wee cafe!!

We just had a cup of coffee and a cake here. We were served by a lovely elderly lady who I think just makes the cafe. It was very reasonably priced and it was lovely coffee.

Fabulous breakfast rolls. Had sausage and tattie scone with my other half having an egg and bacon roll. Was delicious, rolls were perfect and food cooked without the greasy spoon effect. You must visit. Finished off with a warm scone and hot chocolate which was made with a rich chocolate. Only reason I've given a 4 is because no toilets... More

I don't know how long the Ritz has been open but it was in full swing when I went to Millport on holiday in the fifties and sixties. It hasn't changed a bit, so if you want authentic food, drink and surroundings from the heyday of the Costa Clyde this is unmissable. Don't expect any modern fads, just good, tasty... More

The Ritz Cafe made up for the disappointment of eating at two other Millport eateries. Good, old fashioned grub and service in a cafe straight out of the 1960's, this is a must visit if you go to Millport.

Haven't been here since i was a kid so surprised that it looks exactly the same. Same booths, same staff, same jukebox but with updated music. The food is simple but nice and the atmosphere is a bit 50s.

Visited here and it took me back to my childhood immediately, so many happy memories. Hot peas and marshmallow ice just love this place

Visited this cafe twice with my husband and friends on a visit to Millport during September as volunteers at a charity run around the Island. It is just as I remember cafes from my childhood with the leather seating and formica topped tables! It is a little gem of a cafe, situated on the main street, with delightfully cheery staff... Completely original and now wonderfully retro in style, this is the real undoubted charm of the Ritz cafe. I can go back to the 60's as a young child and remember the place exactly as it is now and this must be the case for many others also. The retro style layout might struggle a bit to cope with dogs... Brilliant decor, I hope they never change it! Love the old retro look to everything, from the seats to the ice cream bowls. Ice cream was great, really tasty if a little expensive, that would be my only negative comment. Worth it for a treat though!

The Ritz Cafe is a wee step back in time. it hasn't changed but thats ok. Delicious ices and lemonades and frothy coffee ... and tasty treats ... my favourite from the menu is the marshmallow ice ... takeaway is recommended if you can't sit inside.
