I'm a New Haven pizza snob but there are a few places outside of New Haven that rate and this is one of them. The pizza dough is nice and thin. Cooked perfectly. The sauce is delicious. The toppings are aplenty. This places tastes Italian! If I wasn't so full and happy, I'd venture back today to try some pasta... More

Consistently good no matter what you get! Great NH style pizza without the cost or wait time! Great calamari, subs and dinners even the slices are great, my kids want to go there before any gas food.

Excellent pizza. i've had their other food which is good and classic Italian. Stay with the pizza. Only complaint we had a topping which was on the light side.

Are you looking for authentic italian food? It's nothing fancy or large, but the food alone speaks for it self. You wouldn't think so... but the corn beef and cabbage pizza (made around/during St. Patrick's Day) is so good! Friends and I gather on the outdoor patio during the summer time. The best part about it is that it's BYOB!... More

Love them - best fried calamari ever and owned by the nicest people! They are flexible and willing to make anything as you like it.

This is the best pizza and Italian food in the greater New Haven area. It is a small restaurant that serves homemade Italian food. I just had a white spinach, ricotta, garlic, mozzarella pizza. Their crust is fabulous. The garlic was perfect, not overpowering. The dishes in the case looked great. I would have sampled everything in the case, but... More

We love Si Mangia's pizza! The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Food is delivered in a timely manner and there is never a wait. Would definitely recommend take-out over eating in the small sitting area. The family who runs the restaurant are also extremely friendly and welcoming. This is our go to pizza place over any "famous" New Haven... More

I got takeout lasagne from this place. I didn't know that you could make lasagne inedible but they did. First of all it leaked red grease on my car on the way home. Upon opening the container there was a morass of melted cheese, red sauce and a huge puddle of grease, Beneath the surface were chunks of gray meat... More
