Eli's has a great variety of salads, pizza, pre - made homemade dinners, great burgers all at a reasonable price. A must visit while in Hamden.

They accommodated 8 of us on an early Sunday afternoon and were very pleasant all around. Nice variety on the menu and all dishes were tasty and fairly priced, from the house-made veggie burger to the chicken pot pie.

Eli's has the best salads. Everything is so wonderful and they do a great blackened chicken on request. Their hamburgers are wonderful too. Their drink menu could use an update but overall we love it when visiting Hamden to see our daughter.

The place has a big bar with tall tables around, I had to climb. We ordered mozzarella sticks as starters ($8.00). We got not so big two triangle mozzarella sticks. For entrees we ordered the chicken florentine and chicken Alfredo. The plates were big, but just full of pasta. For been a nice restaurant, it lacks of good service, the... More

Always a satisfied visit. Nothing fancy. Feel like it's good place in the neighborhood to visit when we feel like going out. Usually dine early to avoid the rush and crowd. menu is simple and yet with enough choices.

If you like good atmosphere, good food and fair prices then look no further. Eli's is a well established place and they embrace the motto "do a few things well, not everything poorly". The menu is simple yet tasty. They've expanded their beer choices, appealing to craft beer drinkers which is a plus. Great for watching the games, nice dinner... More

We went here on a Sunday, I had the California burger on a broiche roll with sweet pototo fries, I was so full after the first half, but it was so delicous I couldn't stop eating it. We were a party of 6, 3 of us got different burgers and all thought the same thing. I can't wait to go... More

Eli's has a crowd-pleasing menu spanning from sliders to filet mignon. The soups, salads, apps, and entrees offer something for everyone. Portions tend to be ample. Salads and soups fill large bowls, and the quesadilla appetizer had a thick layer of bbq pork in a 9" tortilla -- enough food to make it a meal. In general, the food is... More

I visited Eli's while on a business trip with a friend who lives nearby and had enjoyed it in the past. He was right. I had the Chicken Florentine, it was tasty and tender. The portion was very large, two chicken breasts plus mashed potatoes and vegetables. The atmosphere is friendly and the service was good. My friend had the... More

I have never had a bad meal at Eli's. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, service is good, and the sandwiches are delicious. My favoritie is the pulled pork sandwich with carmelized onions with a side of sweet potatoe fries. Can't wait to try nachos next time I'm in town. You'll understand why if you ever go!
