This is a great back yard sit on stumps and smell like a campfire place! The food is cooked on an open fire and you can BYOB,salad and sides! The fire roasted clams are a must try and grilled lobster takes it to the next level. One side they do have is a fire roasted ears of corn and veggies.

We love it here. The food is consistently good and who doesn't like sitting on tree stumps and eating outside! The grilled clams with cocktail sauce are great as is the lobster and BBQ chicken. It is byob, you can even bring salads, desserts, etc. Great, fun environment!!

the locals come here with their drinks and side dishes to sit on logs and order their main dishes from the outdoor barbecue pit. The attraction is the picnic setting. Their food was average at best and a bit pricy. Stop by the atm before you go. They are cash only.

My sister saw The Place on one of the cooking shows (Man, Food, Fire maybe?). It mostly sells seafood and we like seafood so we went. First, the dining is outside. They do have covers to pull over the cooking area and tables if it rains. The tables are surrounded by tree stumps, which is what you sit on. Second,... More

This place is pretty neat! Very casual. Would be awesome after a day at the beach. You can BYOB and bring side dishes for your meals. The roasted corn and clams are really good. Parking can be pretty tricky though.

We have been going to the Place for years!! We absolutely love it. We have introduced it to all of our friends and now they go with their families and friends. The clam special is just awesome. The roasted lobster is always perfect. Bring your own wine or beer and sit back on the stump and enjoy!!

Seeing "the place" on food channel, we had to try it. Made a weekend out of it. I'd go back again. They advertise "put your rump on our stump". Good seafood and great atmosphere. All outside.

Outdoor eating under tent. Seafood and chicken as well as corn and veggiebobs grilled on open fire pits. Fun family dining! Roasted clams were great!
