The place is small but the favors are big. This is equal to the pizza we had in Naples , nice combos and reasonable prices. This is a nice way to treat yourself to excellent pizza.

Eggplant pizza-- eggplant itself was rubbery and not prepped right. Otherwise good ingredients-- tomato sauce and nice bufalo mozarella for the simple margherita style pizza, good thin crust. Although I've had better in that style and I'm not talking about New Haven. We've been there a couple times and have always waited a long long time while sitting. Artisanal pizza... More

OWNER/MANAGER OF BUFALINA PLEASE READ THIS. After seeing the glowing reviews here about Bufalina, my wife and I were eager to try it, and looking forward to the experience. The restaurant closes at nine pm according to their own information. On Wednesday July 23 (the date and time is important) we arrived at 8:15. There were several open tables in... More

We did take out from here and loved every one of the many pies we ordered. Phone service was pleasant and easy to work with. Pick up was quick. Location is very small but no problems with take out.

Fantastic 12" pizzas, all made fresh in minutes. You can tell from the moment you arrive this is something special. The smell of the wood fired oven drifts down the street. A small counter greets you inside where there are only 10 seats. But it's a chef's kitchen, as you watch the small staff create these personal pizzas in a... More

Life is lived here... Sit at the counter and watch the work and love that goes into making pizza with delightful taste and great character ... Bring your own wine or beer and have a great time. Go in as strangers walk out as friends. The lovely little restaurant is small and popular. Plan ahead!

We stopped by on a beautiful Friday night. We had heard so much about this place that we finally gave it a try. The pizzas are good but pricey. We had had three pizzas for four people. It was enough. We tried the potato pizza, Margarita with sausage and the fig and cheese. The fig was the best of the... More

Thanks to fellow reviewers we decided to stop in for dinner on our way back from killingworth to west haven. We arrived just after opening and easily found a spot. Within 15 minutes the place was full (not too surprising considering there are only 6 tables outside) we brought a bottle of wine and enjoyed it with our fig pizza,... More

The pizza is fantastic with wonderfully fresh and high quality ingredients. Limited menu but every pizza is memoriable and changes with the seasons. The pizzas are thin crusted gourmet pizzas with offerings from the stand by Marguerita, 4 cheese or meat lovers to the nightly special (what I often can't resist). It is also BYOB. The biggest challenge is getting... More
