We went to Pizza Palace based on the reviews from tripadvisor. What a disappointment. The service was horrible. On a Tuesday night it took 25 minutes to get our drinks (cokes). We got our wilted salads after 35 minutes of waiting, and then at the 1 hour point the first of two pizzas we ordered arrived, and it wasn't what... more
I use to think this was the best pizza in the area but since they moved it hasn't been as good. I'll give it a shot again in a couple months to see if they fix whatever they are doing wrong with the new ovens. more
Excellent pizza and grinders, friendly service. New location is clean, great place for the family, or friends. more
I visited groton pizza palace for the first time last week. I just moved here from boston and have heard a lot about pizza palace. I always like to frequent family owned places instead of chains, so pizza palace seemed to fit the bill. I ordered a large pepperoni and I have to say it was the best pizza I've... more
Pizza Palace used to be my favorite place until tonite! I said I had never heard of that before and have been in the... more
We're new to Groton, and kept reading excellent reviews about Groton Pizza Palace, so we decided to try it for a change a few nights ago. The restaurant was not crowded; there were a few people dining in-house, but most... more

In my opinion, Midway Pizza at the bottom of Fort Hill, also a very well established grinder and pizza shop is much better for both. They are also less expensive. Midway... more
I grew up in Groton and now live in Phoenix. Whenever I come home to visit my family, the first thing I do is get a grinder from the Pizza Palace! more
This place has been around forever. The same family has owned it for something like 40 years. Truly the best pizza in Groton...a local tradition for most of us who started coming here in high school, and now we bring our own kids. My favorite place for pizza and grinders. more
