Used to be great

This used to be my go-to restaurant when I wanted a nice dinner and I was in the Groton area, even though I always found it to be loud - not great for an important conversation. Service has gotten rougher though, and it's entirely possible your appetizer or dinner will be on the cool side when it... read more

DISAPPOINTED......Food is good, Service is good, though Very Pricey. Four of us had dinner with no Alcoholic beverages and had a bill of $ 151.76, but that was ok what disappointed us was that we each ordered a soft drink, half way through our meal we ordered a refill, we were charged for every Refill....please charged $ 18.00 for SODA.....there... Olio's always has interesting specials every day, along with very healthy options on their regular menu. The portions are reasonable, and the salads are the best around. They have good fresh fish and seafood options as well. The atmosphere is fine for business, but the acoustics are such that conversations carry, so it isn't a great option for date night.

Olios has a great happy hour deal and good apps but definitely has a menu that is all over the place and can be very hit or miss. If you hit on something great it will be fabulous but a miss can leave you feeling disappointed for the amount of money your going to pay. Not a bad spot to... More

They also have some great and diverse, tasty salads. The service can often suffer when busy. Often difficult to judge how busy it might get as I've been there several times and 'boom' it gets filled up. When it gets crowded the wheels can fall off the bus

I had an awful experience at this restaurant. The waitress, an older lady with gray hair, was incredibly curt and disrespectful. She gave me uncooked food, and without an apology, gave me the check and told me the dish was half price. Seeing as I didn't have dinner, one would think you should ask if I wanted anything else. I... More

We were in from out of town and wanted a nice dinner. We got one! Everything on the menu looked good and as meals went by, they all were appealing. Great meal. Nice atmosphere.

Not the first time I have lunched here, but each time it seems like the service gets slower and slower. Two people, salads for lunch, 90 minutes. Ordered cappuccino which was cold. Bread never arrived, had to ask. Now the salads were great, but it seems that for salad, waiting an hour for them to arrive is a bit much.... More

Having driven five hours and attending a viewing, we were tired and wanted to get a light meal. Olio was suggested to us, and were we glad that we listened to the suggestion! We sat at the bar and had a couple of appetizers, which were absolutely delightful! The ambience was nice, and the staff friendly. We enjoyed our light... More

The menu selections were varied and interesting, and the food was delicious. The service was good and while friendly not overly so. We were also introduced to a new brand of Riesling that we enjoyed very much and will be looking for here at home. All in all and very pleasant and enjoyable evening.
