Stumbled upon Paul's Pasta after a USS Nautilus employee suggested it for lunch. The amazing pasta with a wide variety of preparations, the friendly staff, and the great views from the deck combined for an excellent lunch experience. I'll be thinking about my pasta primavera with amazingly fresh vegetables and delicious garlicky oil for a long time to come.

When you enter Paul's you are greeted by the family pasta makers. It is an old house that has been converted into a restaurant/shop. We opted for outside seating with a 20 minute wait. It was worth it. The seating deck overlooks the river and is right across from the ferry landings. While you dine, you can watch the ferries... More

I think Paul's high ratings are due to the sheer momentum that comes with being the #1 rated place in a city. It's not bad, but it's definitely not the dreamy hand-made-with-care pasta dishes that most reviewers are gushing about. My wife and I visited on a wednesday evening. It was pretty busy, with a 30 minute wait for the... More

This place is fantastic. The food is always always good. Great menu that has large and small portion options for those of us that can't eat a mountain of food. Desserts look and taste great. One day we were here and they were making the ravioli right in the front so you know They really do make their own pasta... More

Love this place! My kids look forward to it every time we are in the area. Always a line so try off peak hours. The garlic bread is awesome and I haven't had a pasta dish that was bad yet!!

They have the best and i mean the best homemade pasta, you want spaghetti, they run it thru the machine to give you spaghetti, you want linguini they run it thru the linguini cutter. The lasagna always good no i mean great.... If you sit outside bring a sweater just in case, and if you are going Friday night or... More

Be prepared to wait but it is well worth it. Still thinking about the pasta with white clam sauce, and the garlic bread is out of this world. It's the small things...

Stopped to eat before going to Fort Griswold up the street. Lasagna was delicious- cheesy. Deck seating was immediate and service great. I even took home a tie dye shirt as a souvenier.
