Went tonight & several waiting for deck, but able to sit immediately inside. Food was delivered quickly & just as we ordered. At the end of the meal, offered take home pasta & sauce which came very quickly. All told we were in and out in an hour. We did not have dessert or coffee. We will definitely be back.... More

Went here on a Saturday evening for dinner with the extended family. Everyone was fairly pleased with their food, but we had heard great things so our expectations were very high. Servings are huge and prices are beyond fair. All meals come with garlic bread, so although the appetizers were tempting we didn't try any - there was plenty of... More

Homemade pasta and great Italian food. Restaurant is quite small, so there can be a bit of a rate. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.

We have eaten at Paul's Pasta many times. We are always excited to go because we know we are going to have an amazing meal, great service, and feel as though we are part of the family when we are there. The staff is wonderful and we look forward to our next dinner out. The lobster ravioli is amazing and... More

Delicious food, but unfortunately, sub-par service. The quality of the food, the lpw prices, and the view from the deck almost make up for the bad service, however.

We went there in on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded. Now the place is small, but they do have additional seating outside. We sat outside because of the nice view and the weather was warm and dry. We all had the small portions of food. I had the spaghetti and one meatball, and everyone else had cheese... More

We ate lunch at Paul's Pasta Shop on our way to take the kids to see the submarine museum. The place but comfortable and friendly, with homemade pasta and a good selection of Italian dishes (and cannolis!). We sat on the deck outside looking across the water to New London. Food was great-- kids loved it, too.

Paul's #1 ranking in Groton richly deserved. Probably #1 in the state of Connecticut. I had a shrimp and mushroom over linguini special, the wife white clams over linguini. Both dishes were wonderful, as were the house salads and the garlic bread. The house made linguini was a perfect al dente. Balsamic vinaigrette sauce on the shrimp an unusual and... More

I found this place on Foursquare after driving around the area. You must eat here. Tiny place with a nice patio area. Big portions so be sure to ask for a small portion if you are traveling solo. The mac & cheese is a must! Enjoy the views of the river and soak in the sunshine.

First let me say, yum. My favorite person and I started with a glass of red wine. I settled on the Fettuccine Ragu, my lovely companion the red sauce with bay scallops special of the day. Both were very tasty. Everyone has their own idea of good, so I'm not going to dazzle you with my culinary remarks. :) You... More
