Lobster ravioli, carbonara, and spaghetti were all excellent. Entrees were served with warm garlic bread. Portions are ample and price is good. Service was good. Would return.

Sat on the deck which does have nice views. The service was very slow. I never did get the salad I ordered. We only saw the server when she took our order and when she delivered our check. The lasagna was good. The Alfredo was bland. It will be a while before I go again

I have been a satisfied Pauls diner since they 1st opened. I've eaten there, no exaggeration, about 400 times. The pasta made on site, flavored pasta, weekly specials, lobster ravioli, daily deserts, and of course my favorite (linguini with red clam sauce), and excellent service make it my favorite restaurant in CT. It's no problem to drive from Colchester when... More

Been to Paul's quite a few times and never been disappointed. Seating is tight but it creates a good atmosphere and the service is slow, at times due to everything being made fresh! Parking is not always easy and almost everytime you will have a wait, to be seated. This is minor as you will not be disapponted with the... More

I just love this restaurant. Food is always awesome. Worth the wait but this visit we didn't need to wait. We sat outside on the porch.

I almost didn't get the chicken alfredo at Paul's, because I am partial to my own alfredo sauce, but I decided to give it a shot, since the restaurant is raved about. Hands-down, no doubt about it, that was the best meal I have ever had, which is really saying something. The pasta itself was perfect, unlike some fresh pastas... More

My husband go here frequently. Our last visit was in May before we moved out of state. While we had to wait for a table the Alfredo with fried chicken was worth the wait and according to my husband so was his lasagna. The portions are huge and the service is great. Make sure you finish your meal with there... More

A lovely location on the water in a simple historical setting. Pasta very fresh and nice selection of salads and desserts. Lunch is busy and outdoor seating at a premium. Friendly but service slow because food is freshly prepared.

I've been coming to Paul's on and off since shortly after they opened...first meal was on New Year's Eve in 88 or 89. Have taken numerous friends and relatives from outside the area here and don't think I have ever heard a complaint. In all that time, I've had one bad meal here....an undercooked chicken breast about 20 yrs ago.... More
