nice view and decent food

Last minute supper but it all came together as we at out on the deck watching the sun set. We had a fun server and enjoyed it as there was a warmer out there and it was just enough to keep the wind from chilling you. Food is good and prices decent. We have been coming to Paul Pasta for many years. We have never been disappointed. Their homemade pasta is the best we have had anywhere. They usually have a seafood specials that are fresh and creative. The restaurant is small and there is always a line but it is well worth the wait. This is not a fancy place but... More

Recently went for dinner on a Wednesday night. Paul's was crowded (as usual) no reservations are accepted so we had to wait for about 20 minutes. That can be a negative as there is only a small area to wait inside or one waits outside. However, once you are seated the treat begins. Paul makes excellent homemade Pasta. I just... More

The pasta was amazing of course but the view was also amazing. We dined at dusk and had the joy of watching the ferry boats from the deck. Great environment and delicious food.

We had to spend and extra night in Groton because of weather delays. We did a web search for places to eat in Groton. We landed on Paul's Pasta and what a find. The service was great but the Pasta was even better. A small place but worth the wait if you have to. We will go back in the... More

Don't be fooled by the unassuming interior of Paul's Pasta. If you are looking to enjoy an authentic pasta dish- this is the place to go! There is always a line for a table so ask the waitress for a glass of wine to pass the time. its certainly worth the wait.

This is a small Italian restaurant that you need to visit! The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. Everything is good! Get there early during summer because it's busy and the deck is popular. They sell their homemade noodles and sauces to go. Worth it!

If you stop in on a weekend or during a rush hour, be prepared to wait, but it will be worth it. The indoor space is super limited, and the outdoor deck barely helps in the warmer months. The pasta is homemade, served in generous portions, and meals are made to order, so they are pretty accommodating in making changes... More

We've been here twice and everything that has crossed our lips has been outstanding. First - the garlic bread that comes with every meal is just awesome. Weirdly, they normally don't serve it until your dinner comes, so you have to ask for them to bring it first. All of the gorgeous pasta is homemade - including the lasagna noodles!... More

Great pasta. They make the paste per order. So it takes a few extra minutes for the order to get to you. But that's alright cause the pasta is great! However, they water down the sauce. I understand that businesses will lose money, so it makes since. If you don't mind slightly runny dauce, it's great!
