Excellent meal at a great price!

This was a great meal - had a salad, linguine with clams, and a lobster pasta which was our favorite!! Definitely visit but be prepared to wait ( we waited about 1/2 hour but well worth it!) and very reasonably priced!

We have sailing friends that used to live in Groton, they have been telling us for years to visit Pauls, we finally did, and wow! It is small, a few tables in and a few tables outside over looking the water! the pasta is made there, it is fresh and delicious! The hot hummus was a great appetizer, the carbonara... More

The pasta and eggplant here are great. Have tried Eggplant Parm. and Carbonara and especially like them; however, I can't recommend the meatballs--they were flavorless and dry. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. Cozy atmosphere, if not a bit tight. Outdoor seating with view of Thames River.

Arrived for lunch and had to wait 20 min for a table outside but it was worth it. Had the house specialty, Dorothy's 5 cheese lasagna, small portion, and it was delicious and huge! The pasta was so smooth and tasty that it was unreal and the Pomodoro sauce just perfect! The other dishes we had were the spaghetti and... More

A client I was planning to meet at his nearby office suggested we meet at Paul's Pasta instead for lunch. What a great stroke of luck that turned out to be. If you are going for decor, this is not your place. Very plain, simple tables, an inside room that looks to seat about 25-30. The porch was open and... More

Whether your up for Shrimp Scampi, locally caught Scallops or an Antipasto, your going to enjoy Paul's Pasta warm and welcoming atmosphere. In the summer enjoy their deck with its great views of the comings and going on the Thanks River. Simply put a delight. Have enjoyed Paul's for years!

Paul's Pasta was wonderful the location is on the water and the view is exquisite. The interior is homey and the atmosphere reminds me of mom and pop shops of years gone by. I loved the liguini primavera and cannelloni. The crusty garlic bread is excellent by itself or as a sponge for the sauce.

This is one of our favorite spots and we recommend Paul's to others often. Delicious homemade pastas and sauces. Very reasonably priced and generous portions. Often a wait for a table but so worth it!

You really cannot beat this place! Home made pasta, daily specials. Best white clam sauce I have had anywhere! Reasonably priced with a million dollar view! Very busy on weekends but certainly worth the wait! Deck overlooking the water is open during the warmer weather and the views are really incredible. Try the peanut butter pie for dessert. It is... I can't say enough about this little gem in Groton, Ct. I grew up nearby and I have to say that their reputation has been consistent for many years. Each dish is prepared with home made pasta and wonderfully fresh ingredients. You also have your choice of small or large portions so it is conducive to sharing family style. My... More
