Favorite restaurant

Always plenty of good home made pasta. One plate can serve two or take home left overs. Get there early on Friday nights or wait for table. You can sit outside on the patio and watch ships crossing on the Thames River. Very old building with a lots of character. Prices very reasonable. Hate to give... read more

I love this restuarant! The food is fresh and very, very good and the staff is kind and everyone always had a smile on their face. The lobster alfredo is divine, absolutely delicious! The garlic bread is wonderful and I don't even want to mention the cheesecake - goodness, I wanted to buy the whole cheesecake but my waistline wouldn't... More

We chose to sit outside and it was a mistake, although it was screened in, the ants were horrible and the entrance to the kitchen, visible from seating was a filthy screen door. The staff was pleasant but the food was fair at best. The stuffed mushrooms were obviously frozen and bland. My husbands bean dip was gooey and the... More

Staff was amazing. The food was fresh and everything that we got was outstanding. The Alfredo was great as well as the bean dip and shrimp appetizers. It is a gem located right near the waterfront. Get their early because it gets crowded especially in the summer.

We pull up on a Wed night to an old house with a line out the front along a brick wall. Managed to score parking spot only to get out and be captured by the aroma of "that tastes' like more". Yummy garlic roles, ice cold beer, spaghetti pie, and scallops that were to die for. Nope for reservations. Endure... More

Long awaiting to be seated as this was the only restaurant around this neighborhood. Outside table seemed very great to view the river and town over the river. We didn't feel like accommodating the time to wait for over 45minutes so we ate inside. The volume was quite large even for a small portion. Some menu seemed interesting but saw... More

We read some reviews and decided to give it a try. So happy we did as it was really really good pasta. They have limited outside seating on a deck and seating inside. In good weather you def. want to sit outside but get there early enough. The place got crowded when we were there and seating became hard to... More

This is our favorite place to eat when we are in Groton. We usually do an early evening dinner because it gets busy and we like to eat out on the deck where seating is minimal (maybe 8-9 tables). We've never been inside but the deck seating is comfortable, but not fancy, with water views from all tables. The food... More

Best pasta in the area. Get there early, sometimes really crowded. Sit outside. Great views of the Thames River.

This place came highly recommended, Maybe it was just me but I found nothing special about this place. That being said the next time I'm in Groton at lunch time I'll give them a second try.
