Great fresh pasta

We had to spend and extra night in Groton because of weather delays. We did a web search for places to eat in Groton. We landed on Paul's Pasta and what a find. The service was great but the Pasta was even better. A small place but worth the wait if you have to. We will go back in the... read more

Don't be fooled by the unassuming interior of Paul's Pasta. If you are looking to enjoy an authentic pasta dish- this is the place to go! There is always a line for a table so ask the waitress for a glass of wine to pass the time. its certainly worth the wait.

This is a small Italian restaurant that you need to visit! The portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. Everything is good! Get there early during summer because it's busy and the deck is popular. They sell their homemade noodles and sauces to go. Worth it!

If you stop in on a weekend or during a rush hour, be prepared to wait, but it will be worth it. The indoor space is super limited, and the outdoor deck barely helps in the warmer months. The pasta is homemade, served in generous portions, and meals are made to order, so they are pretty accommodating in making changes... More

We've been here twice and everything that has crossed our lips has been outstanding. First - the garlic bread that comes with every meal is just awesome. Weirdly, they normally don't serve it until your dinner comes, so you have to ask for them to bring it first. All of the gorgeous pasta is homemade - including the lasagna noodles!... More

Great pasta. They make the paste per order. So it takes a few extra minutes for the order to get to you. But that's alright cause the pasta is great! However, they water down the sauce. I understand that businesses will lose money, so it makes since. If you don't mind slightly runny dauce, it's great!

We came here for lunch on a fairly busy day. We did get to sit facing the water and that was great. We had the eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti. It was delicious.

Last time I was there I was not impressed. I have heard people rave over and over again about the food but I don't really understand why. The service was horrible, the girl never checked back after dropping the food off. I ordered a white clam pasta and it was tasteless, so I tried putting cheese and red pepper and... More

Nice family friendly place with tasty food and wine starting at $15/bottle. The garlic bread is incredible. The total restaurant probably seats between 20-30 people, so it's not the best for large groups.

We are visiting for a few months and are right around the corner from Paul's Pasta Shop. It is winter and at this point I prefer take-out. I can't speak to the entire dining experience, but I can say that this is not a place you go to for atmosphere, it is crowded every time I go in for take-out... More
