we go here every time we go to Mystic. It is actually in Noank, and most of the movie Mystic Pizza was filmed in Noank. Nice outdoor or under canopy eatery right on the river.

Had an ok lunch at Costello's last Friday. Discovered they are neighbors and partners of Abbotts Lobsters. Not a fan of the round roll, lack of butter and the shaped look to the lobster which was dry. It was a beautiful day to be eating outside though. The staff was friendly.

Generally, when in the area, we dine at their sister restaurant, Abbott's but decided to try Costello's this time. The seafood here is basically fried but still very good. The fried shrimp was delish.

Great food; do not be concerned if your order is #200 & they call # 8...Completely out of order. We were served after #96. Clams, shrimp, & scallops were fresh & fab. BYOB!!

We have eaten here once before and both times we have gotten pretty good meals. My sons fish and chips was good. My fisherman's platter while good consisted of mostly clams. Got two shrimp and two scallops with it. Over all it was good but next time in the area we will try something different.

This is a relatively simple set up with good seafood and the ability to sit outside by the docks over looking the water and boats. It's BYOB and if you are looking for an adult beverage - bring it!

We tried to go to Abbott's Lobster in the rough but it was so crowded that we decided to try Costello's which is just down the road. Hubby had the chilled lobster roll and I had the fried whole clam bellies which were tender and fried to perfection. It was a beautiful afternoon and we sat outside and watched the... More

We went there on a Saturday evening, though the place wasn't particularly busy. No wait to order. We ordered the New England style clam chowder, fried shrimp and fish and chips. The clam chowder had very little clam meat but otherwise was tasty. The shrimp were similar to the frozen, pre-breaded ones you can get at the supermarket and I... More

The clam strips are as fresh as they come and the fried fish the best. This place is really really good and no tot be missed.
