Costello's name says it all.. it is a shack, but with nothing but outdoor seating and wonderful views of the water and the boats. The food is wonderful... fried clams (bellies and strips), shrimp, fish & chips, lobster rolls (hot or cold) and boiled lobsters from time to time... BYOB. The seating is at picnic tables in many instances. On... More

we just happened to come on Costello's and are glad we did. We were in the mood for Fish and Chips and got a great view to boot. This is a small place right on the water with counter service and plenty of tables with a water view. The fish that we got was very fresh and tasty. There was... More

Love this place for fresh fried seafood. Cant beat the outdoor seating on a nice day. Everything we've ever ordered there has been really fresh. Not the cheapest place around, but worth treating yourself to some great local fried seafood.

We were looking for a place for lunch and noticed the long line at Abbott's and we were happy to discover Costello's basically right around the corner. You order your food at a window and are given a number which will be called when it is ready. There is a variety of fish to choose from but we decided the... More

Came here after we took a ride on the Mystic Seaport's, Sabino. During our ride we had passed this place, Ford;s Lobster and Abbotts. It was getting late and Ford's had a 45 minute wait and Abbott's was packed. We were the last patrons served at Costello's that evening which may account for the so-so food and slow service. I... Right next to Abbott's, but better in every way. Better food, prices, and atmosphere. Come as you are outside seating, with cover from sun and rain. The kids who run it are sweet and attentive. I'll go back every time after a great summer day at Mystic.

Great sea food in a setting overlooking the harbor. Not fancy, order down stairs, take a number and get your food when ready. Large portions, varied menu, blob or soft drinks available. Outdoor seating on two levels, covered.

we go here every time we go to Mystic. It is actually in Noank, and most of the movie Mystic Pizza was filmed in Noank. Nice outdoor or under canopy eatery right on the river.

Had an ok lunch at Costello's last Friday. Discovered they are neighbors and partners of Abbotts Lobsters. Not a fan of the round roll, lack of butter and the shaped look to the lobster which was dry. It was a beautiful day to be eating outside though. The staff was friendly.

Generally, when in the area, we dine at their sister restaurant, Abbott's but decided to try Costello's this time. The seafood here is basically fried but still very good. The fried shrimp was delish.
