Very Pricy But Good

Went with my daughter and her husband for mid-week dinner. The restaurant was not crowded, but we were not alone. As we walked in we were greeted by a pile of lobsters on ice, but most of them looked totally dead. I ordered the rabbit casserole, and it was delicious. I had to struggle with... read more

I would not recommend this restaurant! They do not respect reservations that are made even weeks in advance. My daughter called two weeks in advanced for a Saturday night and confirmed two days in advance for a birthday celebration. When we arrived at the Polpo, they were not at all pleasant and seemed to have over-booked for the evening. When... More

We went to Polpo for New Year's Eve. The meal was outrageous. No need to comment on which dish etc. etc. was good. You need to go to Polpo. It is fantastic, and the best Italian between Manhattan and Boston.

We dined it Polpo a few times over a few years and it was always good, however this time we were disappointed - my duck was way overcooked. I am a slow eater, but that's not an excuse to miscalculate timing and bring dry charred meal. The service was good and the ambiance was nice too, but I'm not in... More

We have been here before with friends and it was the same then. You drive up and if you have a Ferrari or other 150k+ car they keep it up front for you. If you give the guy a tip before they keep your car in the lot behind the restaurant. If not, they take off with your car and... More

We have been here a few times. We don't go often because it gets pricey. You have to spend $70 for a bottle of Proseco! You can buy the bottle for $10. I don't mind restaurants marking up wine but that is ridiculous. Service is spotty. When im spending this much, a I expect more.

Great Italian food. The rabbit and veal are great. The desserts are delectable. Service was prompt and the specials were clearly explained

Good food, good ambience, valet parking with piano bar. A little bit noisy and kind of heard to have conversations but a good place nonetheless.

First time guest and what a find! The family selected this spot as it was mid-way between New Canaan and Yonkers. The ambiance was outstanding. Great colorful lively decor and the rest of the experience followed. The menu was comprehensive Italian but the taste of our dishes was superior. The appetizers and main courses were fresh, delicious, and great portion... More
