I friend of mine recommend le scale for lunch. We sat on the outside by the water. Food was great and the service was outstanding. Would definitely go again.

This is a lovely restaurant for outdoor dining in good weather. The food was very good, and creative. I agree with other reviewers that it is somewhat over-priced, especially the appetizers and desserts, but the overall experience of dining there, sitting outside and watching the boats go by, is quite special and the food is much better than your traditional... My goodness, go to l'escale restaurant in the Delamar Hotel in Greenwich for the scintillating experience of enjoying their sandwich called "find the lobster". Ask for the Lobster BLT, priced at a lofty $24.00. You will receive a hot dog roll (OK so far) with barely a cut into it (not OK) and (and this word is really funny when... More

We've been here many times, inside and on the terrace. We've been here with the whole family but more often than not we will go here as a couple on a beautiful day preferably outside on the terrace which is alongside their private dock and overlooks the little inlet. It's quite a restful, quiet terrace and they have plenty of... More

A little confusion getting a table but it but it worked out in the end. I'm guessing that the receptionist were new but the Maitre D solved the problem in a few minutes.

Who's who type of place, nice waterfront terrace, good food, service slow but polite. Would return here. Would not sit indoors. Glad it's warming up again so we can sit outside and enjoy the scene.

Loved eating on the outside on the waterfront. Food and drinks were great! Every effort was made to accommodate our request to be seated outdoors...prime real estate!

Delicious meals- must try souffle dessert! Loved the lighting and color theme and ambience. The only downside, is it is a bit pricey.

For the prices, the food should be so much better. The bouillabaisse was sub standard. The sauce was poured on a little above warm temperature, the food was only warm at the surface yet underneath the pile of some type of white fish (that made up most of what's supposed to be a medley of shellfish and fish) it was...
