A little pricey but great ambiance, food, drinks and fun people-watching. Right on the water. See gorgeous boats. Hotel rooms are probably fabulous but I haven't seen them

During a long holiday drive home we stopped in Greenwich to enjoy brunch. This lovely place has a restaurant but we opted for the sunny tables near the bar. Here, we enjoyed oysters and brunch. The service was very professional. The bar area was busy but not noisy. We will return in a few weeks for dinner and live music.

Dining out on a holiday with a limited menu can be risky but our Thanksgiving dinner was superb. The lighted candles and fireplace made for a wonderful setting to enjoy each and every dinner selection (pumpkin soup, kale salad, Pork Ragout, Scallops over Risotto, pecan cheesecake and chocolate cake). What set this holiday dinner apart was we never felt rushed.... More

I took my mother to L'escale for lunch. It was wonderful. Everything was fresh from the squash salad to the scrod with lentils. I will definitely be back at a later date with my family. Just a delicious meal!

We took advantage over the restaurant week. I expected just another snobby French restaurant, but boy was I wrong. My son and I were warmly greeted by the receptionist. He was given a bucket of crayons, so he was completely content whilst we were there. I realized shortly after sitting down that what he was coloring was the back of... More

Try the lamb chops with peanut sauce or the truffled rice balls for an appetizer. DELICOUS! Also, the filet mignon is a good choice, along with the pear gorgonzola salad. Will definitely try again the next time I am back...

Been to this restaurant for break, lunch and dinner. Food is always delicious and service professional. Fresh ingredients with some creativity in presentation plus the usual classic favorites. Even large group events pleasant and easy to manage. Consistent service and food quality make this a business staple.

Had to meet a few co-workers here on business. It was exactly what we were looking for. Very good food and great location. We loved that you could see the water and boats from the windows and I hear they host great summer private parties. Seems like its the place to be seen as well for the Greenwich Area.

Delicious and a lovely setting too. We sat on the patio but the inside looks very pretty and I hope to come back another time for dinner.

Both the main restaurant and brasserie are excellent. The wine list is fabulous. When travelling alone, I prefer the brasserie: cosier atmosphere. In summer you can dine outside at the harbor.
