Had dinner there once and wasn't impressed

My wife and I dined here for dinner when we stayed at the Delamar Hotel. We've been at the hotel twice but only dined here once. The dish I ordered was tuna steak and it was overlooked and lacked any flavor. I should have sent it back for another choice. The prices are high. It's quite noisy here... read more

Reminds us of our trip to France in 2013. Spent time in the bar for nightcap and relaxed people watching.

Four of us had an excellent dinner in main dining room. Would like to try outside dining in summer. Foods all excellently prepared: beet tart, tuna tartare, a halibut special, duck, creme brûlée and fine wine. What a special eating experience with friends is all about.

Our favorite was the lobster bisque! Ask for prices on the specials! We didn't and were surprised to find out our fish meal (Dover Sole) was $60 - more than double our other meal which was also delicious.

You cannot go wrong dining here in this elegant restaurant by the sound. The staff, food and service make you feel at home and pampered. Great bar. Have never had anything but very good meals and experiences here.

It was great - the food was delicious - prix-fixe 5 course dinner with wine pairing and champagne at midnite with live band for dancing It was a fun and great night for New Year's Eve celebration! The restaurant was decorated festively for the occasion and the staff helped to make it fun and lively.

I just returned from a delicious dinner at L'Escale. I have been here many times for lunch and brunch and this was my first time for dinner. We were celebrating a birthday and it was perfect! We had a table right in front of the fireplace. The food was fantastic and our waiter (who I sadly cannot remember the name... More

A little pricey but great ambiance, food, drinks and fun people-watching. Right on the water. See gorgeous boats. Hotel rooms are probably fabulous but I haven't seen them

During a long holiday drive home we stopped in Greenwich to enjoy brunch. This lovely place has a restaurant but we opted for the sunny tables near the bar. Here, we enjoyed oysters and brunch. The service was very professional. The bar area was busy but not noisy. We will return in a few weeks for dinner and live music.

Dining out on a holiday with a limited menu can be risky but our Thanksgiving dinner was superb. The lighted candles and fireplace made for a wonderful setting to enjoy each and every dinner selection (pumpkin soup, kale salad, Pork Ragout, Scallops over Risotto, pecan cheesecake and chocolate cake). What set this holiday dinner apart was we never felt rushed.... More
