Description: Manhattan-chic restaurant tucked in mid-country Greenwich serves an elegant, modern American menu behind a glass-walled kitchen. Chef Reza Khorshidi’s cuisine is marked by French technique and simplicity. His wife, co-owner Rebecca Kirhoffer, matches his food with an eclectic, sophisticated and award-winning wine list. The dining room features a display kitchen visible from every table. Rated “Excellent” by the NY Times since its opening in December 1997.

For an upscale restaurant, we thought it was tight quarters, noisy, and the décor was just average. The food was good, but nothing special for the prices, which I felt were pretty steep for the overall experience. The one thing that was excellent was the wine selection. Would not go back

Will never go back ! Over priced-nothing special. Staff and host so condescending. Not a thing spectacular about the food or atmosphere. PRICEY, PRICEY, PRICEY and for what?

We've been to Rebecca's before and thought it was pricey but good. Now, however, it is just pricey and the food is significantly below the average quality Greenwich restaurant (overcooked or prepared well in advance, strange attempts at combining flavors, overusing sauces, etc) I don't think there is ever a reason to return. On top of it all, the service... More

We have been to Rebecca's a number of times and are constantly wowed by the experience. The food is top-notch and artfully prepared with a menu that includes specials like rabbit and elk. In Greenwich's great restaurant debate, I always vote for Rebecca's as my favorite. Seasonal dishes abound, and everything is superb. Their truffle risotto is topped with shaved... More

My husband and I went for a Valentines Dinner, which was a prix fixe menu for $125 each. We ordered a half bottle of Duckhorn for $50. The menu had a lot of nice choices on it for a prix fixe, including some of their well-known items. The service was slow but very earnest and polite--it was extremely crowded. The... More

Leave it to them to find truffles from the southern hemisphere to do perfect truffle risotto out of season. Hard to believe someone said this menu isnt varied enough, since from fish, fowl and meat, there are a myriad of creative one of a kind dishes. The vegetable slaw is a personal favorite and visual delight with nine small squares... More

It's hard to define perfection, but if you're doing research on it, you'll want to have dinner at Rebecca's. I expected a snooty, overpriced place with standard steakhouse fare, but I was treated to an evening that was as close to perfect as possible. Starting with the hostess, we were treated to a staff that seemed to have only one... More

It's NY City quality, service, and prices in a warm and chic suburban setting. Whether for business, family or a special occasion, Rebecca's is one of the real gems in Fairfield County.

For the price you pay, and the atmosphere first presented to you, Rebeccas service should be top quality; it was not even close however. I never received one refill on my beverage, and they gave my date an entirely different dish than he ordered. The server was short with is, though not entirely rude, and nowhere near what would be... Menu is not varied enough and the service is very pretentious. This restaurant is resting on its historical reputation but not keeping up.
