Manhattan-chic restaurant tucked in mid-country Greenwich serves an elegant, modern American menu behind a glass-walled kitchen. Chef Reza Khorshidi’s cuisine is marked by French technique and simplicity. His wife, co-owner Rebecca Kirhoffer, matches his food with an eclectic, sophisticated and award-winning wine list. I really miss the old Rebecca's, where the excellent food was matched by the excellent service. Sadly, that's just a memory. The food is still good, but not great anymore, as though the chef is satisfied with "pretty good" food. There's nothing exactly wrong with the food, but it's forgettable. The staff is another story. Where there used to be... More

The food was superb, Mr. R.K., the owner, is the reason we won’t return! My wife & I went for a special dinner to what we thought, from our first visit several months ago & the hype, was a special place. The food did not disappoint. The sauces on the sweetbreads appetizer & the rabbit entrée were especially great. My... More

Dinner with the better half. Decor is simple but ok. Good parking. Appetizers were good - simple The lobster risotto was good. However the Truffle fettuccine was way overplayed; portion too big, the truffles lacked taste and truffle oil. Desert was very good - the old-fashioned Apple pie.

$110 for a Twice Baked Potato loaded with Black Truffles (!!!!) and it is not alone. The menu has something for everyone, the wine list is extensive, the food is very good although the portions were small, the service was just okay, the hostess visible and catering to the regulars, and the atmosphere is below what one would expect with... We were two couples, planned ahead, at least one week before. Dinner was served with all the ritual of a nice, upscale Manhattan restaurant. The food was well prepared, cooked to perfection. The plain decor might put you off, but focus on the dishes. Even if they won't surprise you, you will be delighted.

My family has been going to Rebeccas for years! Our favorite place to sit is either at the bar or the kitchen counter. The service is always excellent and the food is truly spectacular! Plus the bread is always freshly baked and warm! The price isn't cheap but I would definitely recommend this place if you want a memorable meal.

From yellowtail sashimi to their homemade donuts, Rebeccas Resturant never fails to exceed my expectations. Their service is great, and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend Rebeccas Resturant to anyone who wants a great and fabulous meal with friends and or family.

2/25/2015 I cannot believe that someone wrote that the ambiance on Valentine's Day was nice. Yes, the food was very good-however the price and lack of detail to romance on this day was unacceptable. There was no red, no flowers on each table, and no feeling of a special holiday--- only an extremely expensive meal. I would NOT go there... More

There were five of us going there celebrating the Boxing Day. The food was so bad that it degraded chef Reza advertised standard. In fact all of us have been patrons to this restaurant, with its consistently to the high quality we deemed Rebecca's the best restaurant in Connecticut. But not any more. We don't understand how on earth the... More
