Manhattan-chic restaurant tucked in mid-country Greenwich serves an elegant, modern American menu behind a glass-walled kitchen. Chef Reza Khorshidi’s cuisine is marked by French technique and simplicity. His wife, co-owner Rebecca Kirhoffer, matches his food with an eclectic, sophisticated and award-winning wine list. The dining room features a display kitchen visible from every table. Rated “Excellent” by the NY Times since its opening in December 1997.

Disappointed

For an upscale restaurant, we thought it was tight quarters, noisy, and the décor was just average. The food was good, but nothing special for the prices, which I felt were pretty steep for the overall experience. The one thing that was excellent was the wine selection. Would not go back

2/25/2015 I cannot believe that someone wrote that the ambiance on Valentine's Day was nice. Yes, the food was very good-however the price and lack of detail to romance on this day was unacceptable. There was no red, no flowers on each table, and no feeling of a special holiday--- only an extremely expensive meal. I would NOT go there... More

There were five of us going there celebrating the Boxing Day. The food was so bad that it degraded chef Reza advertised standard. In fact all of us have been patrons to this restaurant, with its consistently to the high quality we deemed Rebecca's the best restaurant in Connecticut. But not any more. We don't understand how on earth the... More

You can never go wrong with Rebeccas. It's a high end restaurant that serve delicacies, yet they manage to add new things on the menu. I am truly impressed and highly recommending this place to all my friends. Can't wait to get back!

We went to Rebecca's with friends, the restaurant is in an odd location in Greenwich but really nice and modern. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner Mr. Khorshidi and we were seated immediately. We ordered a bottle of red wine to share, for appetizers we had sweet breads, asparagus soup, arugula salad, pumpkin and butternut squash soup.

We've been to Rebecca's before and thought it was pricey but good. Now, however, it is just pricey and the food is significantly below the average quality Greenwich restaurant (overcooked or prepared well in advance, strange attempts at combining flavors, overusing sauces, etc) I don't think there is ever a reason to return. On top of it all, the service... More
