Small, noisy little Greenwich hideaway. Popular.

Had lunch with a friend. Service great. It was not crowded. Good menu. Difficult to find a parking space.

I went here on a business lunch, and felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. Very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The bar is separated from the dining room, giving both rooms a different feel, but it works. Totally recommend the New England Clam Chowder, it's loaded with big chunks of fresh clams, potatoes and carrots. Highly recommended are the... More

I mean it's a nice place with a lot of captive business in Greenwich given the paucity of choice in that town. Everything about this place is OK - service, decor, food. But frankly, if the team tried just a little harder, it would be so much better. Be more critical of yourself.

I am a true "loyal" customer to this restaurant, because I love Billy, the manager/owner. The food has always been consistently good, and the service is very "neighborhood-oriented". They are known for their various oysters and seafood dishes, but I particularly love their fried calamari, that I believe is the best I've ever had. But the staff....wow. Aren't they the... More

Although the food is always excellent the service certainly is not! If you want to be rushed then certainly eat here. Our waiter was reluctant to take our drink orders (isn't this where restaurants make the biggest percentage of their money?) and then brought a wrong drink, rushed us to take our dinner orders and when my husband asked to... Regardless of the time of year, weekend or weekday, this is my families go to place. We are all fresh oyster fans and no one in town has a better selection. My eldest loves their oyster stew - not on the menu?, no problem, let me see if the chef has the ingredients and we'll make it for you. How... More

Elm Street Oyster House is a great little restaurant. You can have their dishes or any preparation you choose. The kitchen is extremely accommodation to changes so you get just what you want. They offer a large assortment of fish to choose from every night.

Elm Street OH is generally very busy, understandably so because The food is good and well priced. They do fish lots of ways and they are all quite good...nothing fancy just tasty and satisfying. The seafood chili is a specialty and a must have. The atmosphere is very casual, the dining room isn't large and the table are close together.... More

Very noisy. Average food. Lousy service. We met friends for dinner and conversation, but the restaurant was so noisy that we could not hear each other. Besides, the tables are cramped very close to each other. Not fun at all. Food was less than average.

A great place to eat! Has a cosy, dark mahogany bar to enjoy a drink while you wait or to sit and have your dinner. Dining room is a wonderful size (smaller than bigger) - filled with beautiful colors and art work. A great place for date night or quiet dinner with friends (not too loud, sleepy or bright/dark) Food... More
