I like this restaurant, especially sitting at the bar to eat. But I noticed that the menu hasn't changed much over the last 3 1/2 years. It could use some new items on the menu.

Elm Street Oyster House is an old Greenwich lunch/after-work drinks favorite. The atmosphere is pleasant, the oysters are beyond fresh (although they do tend to run out of fan favorites fairly early on in the day), the wine list is solid. My advice, however, is not to venture beyond oysters and wine, especially if you are a seafood fanatic who... More

One of our favorite lunch spots. We have always enjoyed both the food and service and this visit noticed some updates to the décor. Naturally, my husband ordered the oysters to start - always a good choice. I had the lobster and spinach risotto - YUM! My husband tried the cod cakes and really like them. Recommend lunching here and... More

A small, local restaurant with good food. I love the seafood chili. It is listed as an appetizer. I have it as an entree.

I have been here numerous times and always enjoy the experience. The servers are friendly, but I usually sit at the bar and have gotten to know them pretty well over the years. I like their wine selections and they have good beer on tap, no alcohol here! Portions are good size but at times I find them to be... More

Elm Street is a really nice, cozy spot, just off the main drag in Greenwich. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. This review is just average, because our lunch didn't quite hit the high points, but this is still a nice spot. To be fair, we chose the "cheap" ($22 for 3 courses) menu, offered during Greenwich Restaurant Week, so we weren't expecting... More

The food was mostly very good. We had tuna and monkfish which were both excellent and an excellent molten chocolate cake. The New England clam chowder however was watery and lacking clams. The sevice was a bit too fast. If you put your fork down someone was there to clear your plate. All in all however the main courses were... More

On a whim, I took a drive to Greenwich. found what appears to be the Rodeo Dr. of Greenwich. On a side street towards the Oyster house awaits. From the window, I see this massive painting of this woman resting up against a brick wall. The place is not large. very cozy intimate setting. If visiting this place solo, I... More

We went to Elm during the Greenwich Restaurant Week to test it out for future dinners. Our Elm Greens appeared to have been sitting around too long (hours) as they were wilted but the dressing was delicious. Our main courses were excellent. We had the mahi mahi and cod. For dessert, we had the carrot cake and red velvet. Both... More

Loved lunch. Little to complain about. Oysters were great. Didn't give it a 5 because although excellent it did not have real creativity. Just good food and beer.
