As always,beautiful.

I have been here many times and usually would give it a five star rating. Not this time. Bread was cold. Pea soup was thin. Steak entree good. Dessert excellent. Service was not exceptional like it always was. Maybe it was just an off night, but I was disappointed. My husband also said his meal... read more

Chef Thomas and his wife Theresa, who manages the front of house, have created a fine dining experience without peer in Greenwich and on par with Daniel and Cafe Boulud in NYC..... But with a more romantic and magical ambiance than either THE destination for a romantic dinner or power lunch in a restored mansion set amidst huge trees and... More

Sweetbread appetizer was superb, portions are not overwhelming, and the wine list is approachable, if not sterling. Tables are beautifully set, apart from other diners.

Last week was our first dining experience at the Homestead Inn. Wow! Both my husband and I were impressed with the level of service-impeccable. The food was delightful as well. The asparagus and crab soup was fresh and light. No cream so we were able to savor all of the flavors. My husband's halibut was perfectly cooked. It was moist... More

Came here for a business celebration. I wasn't paying so I cannot speak at all to prices or value. The setting is absolutely lovely. An old mansion with a series of several rooms. We had drinks in a smaller library type room with a fire going in the fireplace. Drinks were exceptional and top notch wines were poured. A series... More

Turning 50 in a few days and wanted to kick it off with an exceptional meal. Celebrated with our family of four. The service was genuine and answered all questions in a welcoming manner. The organic field greens were dressed perfectly and tasted freshly picked. Additionally, the yellow fin tuna and salmon appetizers melted in your mouth. The duck, sea... More

Thomas Henkelmann is perfect in every way. The service is elegant and unobtrusive, the setting is lovely and gracious and the food is exquisite. The is our go to restaurant for Anniversary dinners for two or important family dinners. It is expensive but worth it!

for special occasions you can't beat the Homestead Inn. The food is great as are the deserts and the ambiance is elegant. I prefer slow nights since the seating can be tight. It is not a loud place so it's great for conversation. It's expensive for the portion size, but you are not going to go away hungry.
