want to grab an early bite with a youngster, your own or a grandchild? this is the perfect spot for kids especially on a weekend , early evening. the menu does not possess surprises but you'll know they will have something you like. the guacamole is very good with the delicious chips. not being a devotee of Mexican spices, I... The food at Boxcar is always great. I have been there several times and never had a bad dish. I love that they source what they can locally and that their meats are never factory farmed. But what I love most is the great, friendly service and atmosphere. It's kid-friendly, great for a date night, and perfect for a girls/guys... More

Okay, so the food isn't horrible, but why oh why would you go here when you have such authentic Mexican/South American places so close by in Port Chester? The atmosphere is okay but doesn't really justify the prices. Everything sort of tastes the same and the farm to table / locally sourced thing is really the only draw. Do yourself... More

I have only eaten take out here on several occasions and the food is consistently very good. Excellent flavor and good quality. You obviously pay a bit more for that and for it being in Greenwich. I would like to see the servings a bit larger though to help compensate a bit for the higher prices. The location is also... More

We dined here tonight with our 3 children and we loved every bite, even the ketsup for our little one was delicious! The mini burritos are excellent, meat is tender and wonderful flavor. We eat a lot of Mexican and this by far is the best we've had in a long time!

Some of the best guac...and it's from the East Coast...what?? I'm not lying. It was really good. Great, fun atmosphere. Had the steak fajita. Very fresh and very tasty. Friend got the salmon salad and her fish was also very fresh, not overly fishy. I would highly recommend.

The bar area is definitely the most comfortable in the while restaurant. If you don't have kids with you or a big group of people the bar is perfect. There's a cozy fire (in cooler months), and it's easier to hear eachother talk in the bar area. The food is good- not unhealthy Tex Mex, but the margaritas are hands... More

I'm hesitant recommending Mexican food because everyone has such different perspectives of what "good" Mexican food really is. My husband and I who are from Texas like this place and feel it satisfies our Mexican cravings. It's not Tex-Mex and you won't find melted orange queso on the menu...though the queso they do provide, is pretty good. We like that... More

Food was good not great. The strawberry margaritas were really tasty. The best thing I tasted was the gucamole. the restaurant was kid freindly which is always a plus.
