I've been to this restaurant at least 10 times, although that was 5 years ago this time I had a mediocre meal for $60 which included one main course and two glassed of wine (the cheapest available, but acceptable) I think they are a local establishment that know how to welcome locals making them feel good, included but that doesn't... For a dozen year (it has been open over 20) The Med has remained our “go to” place on The Avenue. It has done so by having an ever changing, consistently prepared menu, served by well-trained, welcoming staff in an always lively and continually updated environment. We love the wood roasted chicken or the lamb kebob, and the parmesan crusted... More

There were 14 people in our group and no one was disappointed with their meal. Fabulous fish including the grilled calamari and octopus appetizers, king crab, and pizza. A duck entree was new to the fall menu and delicious. Lamb duet was really nice too. Bronzino fish was excellent. Verona chocolate cake with caramelized banana and pistachio gelato was a... More

Had dinner here with a large group recently. Very good customer service as the wait staff was very attentive without being intrusive. Food was good but many of the dishes were very, very heavy with cream. If I ate here again I would focus on the dishes with less sauce as it was a pretty heavy meal. Overall very good... More

Thanks Chef for giving us the opportunity to enjoy. We arrived at closing instead of being turned away the Chef invited us to stay. Food was awesome, Carter's recommendation for the Halibut and Chicken dish was right on. Great spot right on the avenue!

This was the perfect restaurant to have a meal on a balmy evening. We were seated at a table overlooking Greenwich Avenue and enjoyed the nice breeze from the open doors and street activity. Inside the place is buzzing -- almost too noisy so really impossible to have a conversation. The food, however, was absolutely delicious! One of our party... More

We were here for dinner recently and were disappointed by the food. The atmosphere is great - it's a lively spot. We split a Hearts of Romaine salad which was non-descript. The calamari which we ordered never materialized but we let that slide. My veal flank steak was tough and, sadly, not very flavorful. The swordfish my companion had was... More

The food and service have never let me down here. Be warned that the prices are quite high, but I think in this case it's well deserved. We've been here several times, usually when friend are in from out of town or a special family event.

It is one of the tastiest dishes in the world! Lamb two ways, a stick of delicious chunk pieces and one of ground lamb, accompanied by Basmati rice and a delicious yogurt. To die for! Food and atmosphere get 5 stars, best place in town, bar non!
