We used to live nearby and enjoyed coming to Meli-Melo. The place was small, but the food was phenomenal! The trip back was not a disappointment. Always hard to choose between the soups and savory crepes for dinner and the sweet crepes or ice cream for dessert. The fresh squeezed juices are also wonderful. Worth a trip!

We found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try, and glad we did. Was very busy, and seemed like a popular place. The food was fresh and healthy with plenty of options. Prices were a little high, but we anticipated this on a New England trip. We both had salad and quiche and really enjoyed them.... More

I just read the review about the rude hostess, please get over yourself. I've been to Meli-Melo countless times and probably know just about everyone there. The workers are dealing with a very high volume business and while I know that isn't an excuse for rudeness, I doubt they were being rude, they were probably just stressed. That is the... More

We were excited to try this restaurant following a visit to the apple store on Sunday October 5th. We put our name in 30 mins prior to when we wanted to eat, and they said it wouldn't be a problem. We came back at noon, as expected, and the hostess, who had treated us rudely ever since we walked in... More

I have a dairy protein allergy and it seems just about everything on most restaurant menus have cheese or cream or yogurt or whey. As a soup lover, for me, me this place is awesome! The list of daily soups is huge! and over half are vegetarian and dairy free. There is also a tasty mix of other options: sandwiches,... More

I recently went to Meli-Melo for lunch. The place was very full, though we were shown to a table right away. The place is bright and cheerful, with a good menu: lots of quiches, soups and other luncheon fare. As it is on the main shopping street I think a lot of locals meet up there. The food was good,... The fodlod here is amazing. Just go. This casual cafe will not dissapoint - though you wlmay have to wait a while if you go for the lunch rush. The restaurant is bustling, if cramped, and very noisy due to its popularity. It's not a dazzling customer service experience either, but it will suffice when the food SO delicious! Also,... More

I was there on a Sunday afternoon. It was packed. After waiting for about 15 minutes, my friend and I were seated. The menu is extensive. Crepes, salads, sandwiches, all with a European flair. I had a vegetarian crepe. My friend had a similar crepe with avocado and greens. There are dessert crepes to die for and gelato. The service... More

The french onion soup is fantastic here and quite filling. I have tried other soups and they are not bad, but french onion is my favorite. I usually also order a savory crepe or salad if I am hungry. The juices look good but are expensive. It gets very busy here, so go more towards off-peak lunch time if you... More

Fun atmosphere, amazing french onion soup, great quiche, awesome crepes, delicious salads, impressive smoothies, over the top desserts, and so much more. Service is friendly, owners are personable and hands on. Meli Melo is the place to go on the Avenue if you can find a parking space, which is really the only negative about it.
