A unique experience....

I took my 2 year old there on a Saturday....The place is really busy, which is always a reassuring experience for a first timer. Good service and a focus on healthy foods....Good to get a spring in your step. Highly recommend the green ginger juice for a weekend brunch.

The quality of the food and service has gone down since the restaurant expanded a few years ago. The crepes, sandwiches, and soups are good but the quality is uneven. It is very crowded for lunch and the service is harried.

To be fair it was terribly busy but my croque madame could have been better and the service took forever plus our waiter never once checked on us. Our pate left a lot to be desired but my husband's goat cheese was excellent. I would take the time to make a reservation at one of the nicer french restaurants.

One of my family's favorite spots in town. We can all get something we really like. I usually get the chicken curry salad, a cappucino and then one of their fresh pressed vegetable juices. My wife likes their fresh, changing selection of soups and my kids can't get enough of their crepes. The service is always fast and every table... More

Food was O.K. it took 25 minutes for a a bowl of fruit, a grilled ham and cheese croissant, and a salad at 11 am.

We've been here a few times in the past year or so. A lot on the menu - so something for everyone. Food is excellent and unique. Prices a bit high but - it's Greenwich - so no surprise there. Only downside is its usually busy and you often have to wait for a table. If you're seated near the... More

Don't be fooled by the average, casual atmosphere and decor of this restaurant. My sister and I went here for lunch for the first time and my dish was one of the best lunches I've ever had. I ordered the duck crepe. They roll they buckwheat crepe after it is stuffed and then press it (like in a panini machine).... More

Our daughter lives on the Left Coast so she is creative and thoughtful with her gift giving back home. Shirley and I for the second time had lunch at Meli Melo on THE Avenue courtesy of Alison. One of those cold, cold wintry days. We each had soup and shared a salad. Their French onion cannot be beat. We cannot... More

How often do we find ourselves racking our brains for a new and different spot for a quick and unpretentious meal. For me it's all the time, and that's why I like to think about Meli-Melo. It is, above all else, a wonderful creperia serving innovative and delicious create creations. With both flour crepes and buckwheat crepes, the crab and... More

You will not be surprised by tourists waiting for a table, but for locals doing so. Food is great, ambiance is simple and straight forward. I loved it when it was a small bistró some years ago. Now, three times bigger, Meli Melo somehow lost part of its charm. Nevertheless, should you drop by in the area, do not think... More

Thank you for your note, we appreciate your honest feedback. Please take a moment to visit our new sister restaurant Bistro Versailles as we renovated and reopened the bistro in late 2013. Hope to see you again at Meli-Melo! More
